Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

Serious question--what would the US actually do when Pakistan announced it had a nuke, when India announced it had a nuke, when South Africa announced it had a nuke, when North Korea announced it had a nuke?
If this were anything other than a false analogy, it would be answerable. Iran's already shown that they'll use the threat of military force to turn an international waterway into a toll system, and this is before they even have nukes. That wasn't the case with Pakistan and India, which was driven by mutual animus rather than geopolitical strategy, South Africa got rid of theirs after apartheid ended, and the North Koreans are kept on a leash by China unless and until a war breaks out in the Pacific.

And ironically, this gets back to my main point--as with Iran, the reason all those other countries sat back and allowed India, Pakistan, South Africa, and North Korea to get nukes was because it was easier for them to take the path of least resistance, rather than put their reputations on the line by taking a hard stance and backing it up with force. They got to pretend something was accomplished, had a few nice photo ops and a glowing writeup in the press, and then fucked off so someone else could deal with the consequences. Whether Trump's decision to try and interdict that this time works or not is still unknowable, but it does represent a complete departure from how this has been approached by the world's elites for decades.

Anybody who was under the impression that Iran would show up to the "negotiations" and do anything besides shitting themselves like retards is retarded.

Trump knew it was all a sham. Vance knew it was all a sham. Everybody with a functioning brain knew it was a sham.

The entire purpose of the "ceasefire" negotiations was to grant Iran the opportunity to shit their pants loud and clear on a world stage, and prove to every non-retarded human on the planet that they are, indeed, a suicidally-stupid pack of utter retards.

Mission accomplished.

Iran’s IRGC says Strait of Hormuz is open for passage of non-military vessels in accordance with specific regulations, but military vessels attempting to approach the Strait under any pretext will be considered in violation of the ceasefire and will be dealt with harshly. Looks like Happenings are back on the menu, boys!

They are like a bullied kid trying to spin defeats into victories. They are so reactionary at this point they are beyond belief.

Israel wants to resume the war with Iran and is waiting for a decision from President Trump, according to Kan News, citing a senior security official.️ If given the “green light,” it plans to strike key national infrastructure and energy sites across Iran.

UK says it will not be involved in U.S. blockade of the Hormuz Strait, and is currently "urgently working with France and other partners to put together a wide coalition to protect the freedom of navigation."

I'll also add-

Another reason Trump wants to "negotiate" with Iran is because he knows it'll sow discord and treachery within Iran.

Trump knows that there's a mad scramble to fill the power vacuum left by all the Supreme Islamic Shitheads who got got, and it's happening in the usual muslim manner of backstabbing and throat slitting.

Trump saying "Let me talk to your leaders" is him throwing the wanna-be leaders of Iran into the Thunderdome and declaring "Let them fight."

So Trump paused the attacks, let the military prepare for the inevitable next phase of curb stomping that's coming, and he gave the Iranian shitheads time to rip their own guts out from the inside while they go about their uniquely Islamic way of picking their next king of the shit heap.

Never interrupt your enemy when he's punching himself in the dick.

Nonsense, Iran has clearly defeated the Great Satan on the field of battle.

Did you not see the proud soldiers of the IRGC holding up the downed pilot's skidmarked underwear?

The reason why Europe is acting the way they do is because allies aren't vassals
remember that when america puts its own toll on the strait of hormuz. Suzerains have no obligations to an ally as they do it's vassals. you can already peer into a scrying mirror and hear the euros wail "WE DID NOTHING! IT'S NOT FAIR!"

so themarkets will crash on monday? good time to buy in.

Europe benefits from Iran not having a nuke and not being able holding the Strait (and thus the global economy) hostage. And yet, Europe also refuses to contribute to making that security and free trade happen.
Iran having a nuke is certainly dangerous for Israel and Saudi Arabia, their two sworn enemies not named the United States, but to non-interventionist Europe?, ehhhhh probably not.

The only way to force Iran to no longer threaten Hormuz is to make sure Iran is no longer a functioning state or to somehow replace it with a more friendly regime, I don't think you need Europe for the bombs required to do that anyway.

The fact that the Caspian Sea is a straight up giant loophole to blockading Iran that America can do fuck all about it is a major demonstration that Harry S. Truman was the worst president of all time (worse than Buchanan and Carter) for failing to give a fuck about the PLA taking control of the Chinese mainland, Tibet, and Xinjiang.

The main gaps in the talks with Iran, per Axios:
There will literally never be a peace agreement when you're asking them to stop doing everything that makes them the evil regime that they are, they'd much rather get bombed than agree to a single one of these points. Oh well, can't say I'm too upset over Iran getting bombed again.

Gee, what's the difference between the fundamental Islamist number one state sponsor of terrorism targeted at the United States, with five decades of terror and military hostility directed at the United States, whose national motto is "Death to America" that they have schoolchildren repeating, whose military strategy was bombing random neighboring nations and refusing to acknowledge reality, negotiate in any capacity, or surrender...

Versus China's completely isolated buffer nation pet, an insignificant African nation that denuclearized itself and never threatened aggression towards the US, and two inept brown curry nations with lukewarm at worst relations with the US as they're too busy focusing on pointing their nukes at each other? You raise a great point, I see no reason for heightened concern for national and global security with Iran versus those other nations.
