As a Protestant in one of the more Catholic areas of the country, the laity being faithful while the leadership is corrupt and retarded is basically all of the churches at the moment. The Cincinnati area is basically turbo-Catholic and really all that ends up being is lots of great Catholic schools and fish fries that everyone goes to (Side note: McDonald's Fish Sandwich? The rest of you are welcome). I think we had a couple Priests/Bishops get caught up in Pedo shit years ago, but it's been dealt with. We all just kinda get along, unlike the New E-Catholics who spent a day crashing out and demonstrating disloyalty the other day. Their spending on welfare has bloated so much that it's overtaken the amount they collect in taxes, before accounting for any other spending! Imagine the government being broke before paying for infrastructure, military, trade deals and even their own paychecks, LMAO.
