Ackshully, it's more accurate to call it oxycodone in pill form. It's just the brand name for oxycodone which is derived from otherwise inactive thebaine, the 3rd common extract from the opium poppy.
Thebaine is extracted from a particular strain of Papaver Somnifernum which produces extremely small amounts of Morphine and Codeine but huge amounts of Thebaine and this is processed into the semi-synthetic opioid Oxycodone which is several times stronger then Morphine as well as highly bioavailable so good in pill form.
It binds so strongly to the opiate receptors in the brain that it can induce 'rushes' of pleasure in the manner of heroin which is why it caused such a problem when over-perscribed as Percocet or especially as OxyContin, the 'extended release' version of Oxycodone that you only had to crush up to get the full power of. Thus it earned the nickname 'Hillbilly Heroin' in the 90s when every doctor in the US but especially in Appalacia was perscribing it like candy. Shit is nothing to fool around with. If you get an open scrip for the stuff you had better have iron willpower.

I have said it once before and I'll say it again: Andy likely doesn't actually have anything that can harm him. He's played the suicide bait card far too many times for them to give him actual painkillers anymore or narcotic sleep aids. The only outlier is the Metformin which is a drug he presumably needs to live so they have no recourse on the matter...though he has threatened to off himself with this too.

Notably some hero named Zach completely and utterly owning Andy by bringing up the cogent point of if he put as much time into taking care of himself as he did trying to destroy everyone, presumably he'd be doing OK

Its what makes me think he's often so crabby and leans on Tylenol as hard as he does. he wants the morphine and other hard shit but they won't give it to him like you said.
Also, for everyone to see, my list has no chronological order and has been collected for a few years. a lot of the meds he likely doesn't use anymore but has claimed to use at some point.
Laziness, really. fatty needs to keep up the retard act and being able to write long 'eloquent' hurts his grift.
AI offers andy the one thing he craves above attention: the AI enables his behavior.
I can only imagine Zach simply stood up to andy like that one APS caller did and reminded andy that he said he's an adult and he can handle wiping his ass. And andy took his usual leap of logic to that meaning that andy should play in traffic.
