Eh it's a little more complicated than that. Some of them are idiots who don't get it, yes. Some just don't like when Republicans play the game and win. But I think a fair sized chunk of them are idealists of some kind, they don't want it to work that way and it bothers them when they see it. Which is a mindset I can't agree with, because it's a losing stance, but I can understand the principles behind it.
