Yeah, I think I might be done with Phail for a bit. When the Casino switched from Jer to pigroach during their last show, I checked out. I had no enthusiasm for the segment despite the fact that it was pretty short by their standards.

Streams like last night are why I don't buy when people say he's hamming it up for Street Fighter. This man is incapable of any level of being intentionally entertaining. He's not a good liar, he's not good at playing into the memes, any time he tries to "own the joke" it's cringe and gay because to really own a joke you have to admit that you are at fault and he isn't capable of that.

It's situations like this that make us almost want to believe that it really is one of the three-letter bitches buying or stealing some other account to donate with, but frankly, the simplest answer is usually the correct one in this world, and it turns out that however stupid you think people can be, they can get way stupider. And those are the people who would absolutely shell out hundreds of dollars supporting Darksy Dephil purely to spite the Internet strangers calling them a peepee poopoohead on their comment section.

It is remarkable how long he can spend on things like streaming or gatcha games without gleaning even surface level knowledge. Maybe it's his fundamentally incurious nature. Does he really think that these games will, once you are behind, offer no way for you to catch back up if you give them money? I guess it makes a lot of sense as to why he's dumped hundreds of thousands into mobile games, he thinks he's figured out some secret. No, Phil, I assure you: if you come back and give them your money they will happily give you a competitive edge. Plus how far does he think they're going to get in a couple week? No, Phil, most people don't dump 40 hours a week into mobile games. But what can you expect from someone whose retirement fund is sweaty man JPGs.

Phil is talking about the ultra competitive top tiers of gacha games, which is all he's known since they've started and he's had a sussessful online business to waste 6 figures on them. At that level, you generally do need to at least check in daily and keep up with events, at least with the shit gachas he plays.

Welp last night I took on that Excavatron boss from Crimson Desert the one that Piggy kept trying to face tank and I beat it in one go, granted I did have some hiccups at first until I realized this fight is meant to teach you to know when to lock on and off an enemy so you can run freely.

A tad off-topic and this isn't specifically about Phil, but no matter what do not spend money on Champions, there's a VERY high odd where the game will die in a ditch within a couple months unless there is some substantial improvement on GameFreak's end.
Other Gacha games yeah (and I doubt Phil will play any one of them save for WWE Champions) but just not Pokemon Champions.
No, he just sucks. It's a Dark Souls Boss.

This is more about "if you come back and give them your money they will happily give you a competitive edge". Which doesn't really apply to Champions assuming if it's really as bad as I said. Granted Cyberpunk 2077 and FF14 are comically bad on launch but substantial improvements made them playable at least. In my opinion at least I cannot see that happening with Champions.
Otherwise yeah, Gacha, DLC and censorship singlehandedly devastated the video game industry. If you look at games now they're just the same genres. Back then there's more than 20 and people and companies were legitimately creative back then. But I think what defines Phil as literal goycattle is how he manages to buy or participate in the most horrible corposlop imaginable. Black Ops 7, Highguard, Assassin's Creed Shadows, Pokemon Champions etc. At least he didn't participate in Concord.
