why call for NATO help at all?
There's this weird feeling to the Iran thing that I can't really put my finger on.
It's the way Trump was floored and then majorly pissed when Europe jumped up and went "WE'RE NOT GOING TO HELP!" after the attacks began.
Iran has shot at Turkey and, IIRC, a British holding, but both times NATO has just stood there jerking off criticizing the Iran Affair without really saying anything.
Then their ships turn out to be complete trashfires right up there with the Russians, to the point there's serious wonderings if the French Aircraft carrier can make it out of port.
Now they say they'll help.
It's like all the posturing about how they're the world's greatest military who could defeat America in 90 minutes has turned out to be slightly less than true.
I've kind of wondered if the EU heard about the missiles that could supposedly hit Europe and asked Trump to do something then they stand there going "How could my dangerous vicious fighting dog attack someone?" when the US hit Iran .
During the whole thing they were practically sucking Iran's dick, almost as if they were afraid of them.
Now that the missiles have been proven they could be intercepted, that the whole "We're holding back our most dangerous goat!" was bullshit, now they're willing to come out from under the bed.
Especially when they've made themselves look so weak that the Falklands are back up for grabs.
Sure, if we can't close the deal in Iran that just shows that, once again, we can fuck your military up and destroy everything in sight, but our politicians don't have the willpower to finish the conflicts.
But it's just this feeling I get. That the EU wanted this done and promised to help if anything was done, Trump went "OK" and then the EU was SHOCKED! SHOCKED I TELL YOU! that Trump did it. Then their politicians hid under the bed to see what their majority Arab population would do and make sure nobody hit them.
Eh, fuck the EU.
