None of the bases the USA has been denied use of are American bases. They belong to the countries they are in. Countries Trump has insulted, tarrifed and threatened.

While serving the jews is definitely a factor, there is a cold geopolitical motivation behind the war, even if most of the public don't know or care about it, neutralizing Iran as a threat would be ridding America of one more sworn enemy, Russia and China would effectively be the only ones left.

The ultimate fate of MAGA still depends how the war shakes out, if it ends in victory in a short time frame (a few months at max), it would be fine for Trump, if it goes long enough, or god forbid, we don't achieve any of the substantial goals before withdrawing, that would end him and any possible future MAGA has in mainstream politics.

I find it ironic how many western "conservatives" fetishize their hatred of Islam. Don't get me wrong, it's a third world religion, but they arguably agree on more positions with them that the average western Jew who laughs at them behind their back. IMO, I would be fine with expelling all Jews and Muslims from western nations, but ironically get accused of supporting Jihad for not wanting to fight tribal conflicts in the interest of chicken swingers.

You do realize the EU has tariffed the shit out of American products for decades, right? As for insults and threats, well, that's trump being trump. Even if victorious, by whatever definition of that you are going with, the rhetorical battle has been handed to the left now. It would be one thing if Trump hadn't explicitly ran on "America first," to which most Americans mean focusing on our own internal issues before trying to clean up others back yards.

The real average tariff rate was 1% on both sides, approximately. And if you focus on specific ones such as cars, US had a >25% on pickup trucks, or outright forbidding them, so no point trying to come up with a random specific product or class of products. The tariff refund is doing great to stocks by the way, thanks to american consumers bearing >90% of the cost! The taxes on it are extremely generous too, it's a beautiful corporate handout.
