I suspect it would involve triggering a series of ground based threats and turning off the lights. Iran has made it clear that it refuses even a "temporary" reopening of the Strait, which is one of Trump's hard lines. This seem to mostly be concocted by a bunch of Pakistanis with maybe some low-level US staffer ferreting messages back and forth.
