Nick, as always, is playing games, but poorly. "Why is it sexual to you," does not follow from what the other guy said.

Also if we want to play these games, Nick, a fetish is not necessarily nor automatically sexual. Why did you immediately determine that the guy was referring to a sexual fetish? Seems like its sexual to you.
 
It might be selection bias, but most clips from him now are just him bitching about personal beefs, bitching about his own problems, going into meta discussions about his streaming strategies, promising big plans for his success without giving any real details, and relitigating things from months or years ago. Is that what his streams are now? Just self-absorbed rambling, treating the audience like a therapy session?

Bias is an interesting question, it appears that the audience suffers from being unwilling participants in the RekietaLaw business conference every stream. But as you say, it just might be the most lolworthy moments.

Apparently. Every time I've checked in it's either been, "x person was unfair to me", "y person's fashion is terrible", or "I have no idea why I'm not more popular!" All with a whiny, effeminate, nasally voice and an outfit + haircut combo that says 'not allowed within 100 ft of a school.'

"Fan threads" started in Multimedia (which is where both Juju's and this thread started) can be problematic because the Multimedia to lolcow pipeline is real, yet fights can and do break out anytime anyone advances a criticism of the subject within them. The usual "no white knighting" rule does not apply in Multimedia threads and, to the contrary, it's the criticism that will often draw ire.

I caught a fair amount shit in late 2020 for daring to suggest Nick's public persona is not genuine and I basically give up until, two years later, when Nick's dishonesty became so blatantly obvious that even @5t3n0g0ph3r had to concede something was seriously off about him and moved this thread into a lolcow forum. Thus begat Nick's nearly four year struggle session with the Farms.

(Special shout-out to a few brave individuals, like @All becomes gunt, who did not give single solitary fuck about what the jannies or anybody else thought, and ate a three and a half year threadban for their trouble).

BTW, that's a big reason why Nick is so pissed off at the Farms. It's not just that he has a nearly 12,000 page lolcow thread now. It's that he went from being almost entirely shielded from criticism here (via a combination of peer pressure from other users, and moderation action) to a nearly 12,000 page lolcow thread, and winning back-to-back Lolcow of the Year. For him, it's the long fall from grace, and loss of adulation, that stings more than anything. Plenty of online personalities have lolcow threads, but only a few like Juju, Ralph, and Nick view it as some sort of "dolchstoß," instead of understanding that the site reassessing and reclassifying them is a natural product of their own behavior.

Probably, but somebody also told me the other day that, as part of six hour struggle session stream, he seemed like he was trying to earn the favor of PPP and Warski. I have not seen for myself yet though. Waiting for the clips.
