Rupert Lowe, Restore Britain, The Rape Gang Enquiry - 'Then millions must go'. 'I don't care'.

Will this movement fizzle out like that Nigel Farage hype awhile back?

I am late to reply but the thing you have to keep in mind is that Farage is controlled opposition. He has had dozens of chances to win over the years and failed to get them. This goes far beyond just bad luck of a case of bad tactics, after a while it becomes obvious that even a complete retard would have been able to score SOME wins if only due to chance.

Farage is lost because he chose to take the L. His collapse in popularity is not just because Lowe has shown up, it is because he has spend decades now being a parasite who gives right wing parties and candidates the kiss of death as he joins them. He has connections and friends in the media and government, he wants very badly to be a part of the government, but on their terms. He accepts the status quo and just wants the speed limit. It is why he has been moving left for years and always going less and less to the right.

If you look at the start of the thread you can see how Lowe was in Farage's Reform as a popular candidate, and Farage tried to destroy him when he spoke out of turn and began to shine a bit too brightly. That was not a one time thing, Farage has a huge HUGE list of people he stabbed in the back and destroyed. Remember UKIP party? He had a straight shot to win, make it a minority party and push people into seats in Parliament. The moment Brexit won however he for some reason resigns and leaves the party utterly listless. People meme that Sargon killed that party with his shit political campaign but the truth is Farage could easily have coached people like Carl and other UKIP nutcases into being decent candidates who might win (if you look at the sorts of loonies Labour and LibDems get voted in it really isn't a big challenge to make Sargon look respectable) but he didn't want that because he knew that if he had the people of UKIP get in they might push for actual change that goes against the status quo.

His entire stint in Reform is just another case of this parasitism. He had spent all his time in America brownosing Trump and showed no real interest in running even with his popularity, but the moment Sunak called a election and Reform started surging he goes back running, parachutes himself into a safe seat, and then starts making Reform a party all about him and himself, kicking out the original leader and bringing in his gaggle of tories and controlled opposition fags.

Farage is getting what he deserves after all these years, irrelevance.

As much as I really would like Restore to win and Rupert to be PM, is it actually feasible? I worry all will happen is Restore will stop Reform from winning and we could end up with something like a Labour + Green + Lib Dem coalition government in muslim gay nigger hell.
Considering Restore has gone from 7 to 13% over the last month, and the only real argument against Restore is "Don't split the vote!", I predict the trend to Restore will be slow, then incredibly quickly. Nigel's argument only works as the front runner, the moment the two parties get close, expect Reform to utterly collapse. Of course, Nigel will likely stick around to sabotage Restore out of sheer spite, but anyone willing to hand over the country to the Greens out of personal animosity should not hold power to begin with.

Nigel literally let it slip his entire job is to prevent something like Restore from getting power. Several of his Conservative defectors have said the same thing, being experts in "extreme right containment." They're controlled opposition. Yeah, if Restore overtakes him he'll switch to intentionally sabotaging them, cause that's his job.

The left doesn't know what to do. Their politics don't work, but they can't admit that, so they're just going to hope they die before the collapse I guess.

The Restore Britain website has updated, now that the party is official. It now has a way for people to register to campaign on behalf of the party. No information about local constituency groups is available, but I suppose that would be provided if you volunteer. Still hoping they actually release something along those lines soon, so we can see how widespread the party's campaigning has become.

i am not a bong but i hope restore wins because everything they say is right also rupert is a funny name

IIRC he credits himself with destroying the British National Party. Sure, they were a bit too racist, and untested, but they raised awareness of issues other parties were too cowardly to address.
The oldfags among us may remember the "Muslemic Ray Guns" meme from 2011. Mocking the crazy conspiracies of a working class BNP activist. Well, thing is, for those outside a posh bubble, you'd understand he was talking about Islamic rape gangs.

I am eligible to vote in the UK, but do not, as I see it as unethical to vote when I'm neither solely committed to the country nor ethnically descended from it.
But now I'm willing to make an exception.
I'm getting so fatigued with Faraj softness to Pakistanis that a Keralan* (Hindu? Christian?) doesn't seem bad in comparison.
Still, it's hilarious he only seemed to pick Reform over the Greens because they had the best chances of getting elected.

If he's from Kerala there's a good chance he's a communist as much as anything else. Seriously, check the Kerala Assembly's biggest parties.

More Overton shift - Kemi Badenoch is floating a Burka ban for the Conservatives - Telegraph.

Reform's new Indian guy would be ineligible to vote under their stated policy of ending Commonwealth voting. Aaron Roy says he's been in the UK a decade but posters found his LinkedIn account makes him a 2020 Boriswave arrival. A Green Party local official says he was speaking to them and Your Party a few days before. He's Reform's second non-citizen councillor/candidate I know after Addy Mo Asaduzzaman last year.

Reform Yookay is a term often used to describe Reform's increasing third-worldism, vid related.

Edits - Vrilliam Butcher is prolific creator and his archive of Restore content is chaotic. He's obviously a shitposting weirdo at heart but recently his content turned towards more clean and appropriate. He's extremely creative in any mode, and varied despite a few recurring themes.

Bros, I can only get so hard.

All correct moves, Reform's fatal move was flooding councils with all these shit candidates who do not pass the sniff test. Now, Reform is committing to the triple lock, which has pissed off their younger base and rightly so. At this point, a lot of people are expecting Nigel to leave when they are below 15%. He will, he always does.

A party that had EVERYTHING, a fucking expected 420-seat majority, now has nothing. They cannot even get a majority.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Lowe and Restore. It's easy to forget with the speed of social media that it's still very early days.

Hopefully Starmer's autism in refusing to give up gives them time to grind down Reform's voteshare into a useless fleshy nub...though as has been seen in the thread Farage's ability to turn success into failure is on full show.

Plenty of people might call this cope, but optimism is rare when it comes to politicians in this country,

Well, something is definitely happening with Reform; they are cold-calling for candidates. They're <20% in the polls, and the Daily Mail and other media are now even referencing Reform. Farage's blithering about "not caring" about numbers, but I think the dent is not a dent but a breach in the Reform hull. Farage is more rattled, and I think he will leave after the local elections; he knows he cannot win now.

The tories do that around my family's way. They called my brother to ask if he wanted to stand for the council, because they didn't have enough warm bodies to fill the ballot and he was a member. He said yes. Predictably got nowhere near enough votes, because nobody over there would vote anything but labour.

From Sunday, Lowe says don't bully Green voters indiscriminately. It's interesting, his point is that 'people rejecting the status quo' might be open to Restore policies. Even if it is slightly optimistic I appreciate the anti-politics as team sports message.

Also ove rthe weekend Restore got a paragraph in a Daily Mail article about Reform's current flakiness. It's the first MSM mention I'm aware of, and only notable in context of Lowe & Restore being near-blackballed in media. The author Andrew Pierce, reported Lowe's criticism of Farage last year that triggered his firing. Archive & excerpt:
Now he faces a new and growing threat to his right flank. In February, ex-Reform MP Rupert Lowe established a party called Restore Britain after Farage kicked him out when he criticised his leader's 'messianic' management style to me in these pages.

This week, Lowe reported that Restore, after less than two months, was already Britain's fourth-largest party, with 125,000 members - surpassing the Tories on 113,000, and more than double Lib Dems membership. (The Greens, Labour and Reform all have at least 200,000 members.)

The ex-investment banker, who donates his MP's salary to charity, tells me: 'Our aim is clear - to win the next General Election.'

That may be ambitious - but Lowe's insurgent movement could undoubtedly bleed significant support from Reform. For years, British people on the Right who were disappointed with the Tory Party's liberal drift under David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak - from rising taxation to Net Zero legislation and military disarmament - were forced to default to Farage.

Now, judging by Restore's membership figures, some believe they may have a new option in a party pledging the mass deportation of every illegal migrant, stripping benefits from healthy Britons who refuse to work as well as from non-British nationals, abolishing inheritance tax and even proposing a referendum on the death penalty.

This is from last week but I couldn't post and it's probably worthwhile recording Restore's missteps where they're heavily criticized by members.
In this case a perceived vetting failure - a regional branch organizer, Max Stenner calls party supporters Steve Laws and Zoomer Historian 'Nazi scum' and lols at Laws' arrest last year. He's a very recent defector from Reform, and has a huge back catalog of off-brand posts about immigration. He says he's third generation something himself. Max Stenner's account.

While many Restorers feel this was a poor appointment, it still pales in comparison to the Reform shitshow the same day.
Anas Huggan was announced as a Reform council candidate in the North East, immediately posted that Axel Rudakubana is a full Welshman and deleted his account about a day later. Digging around X it appears he's using his mother's maiden name, having previously stood as Anas El-Hamri in 2024, before quitting to join Advance, then rejoining Reform for this new electoral attempt. He's also formerly Britain First and a Tommeh fan. His father Majid El-Hamri was deported to Switzerland on suspicion of historic murders, was returned without charge, and then imprisoned in the UK for postal theft (as a postman). Anas and a twin exist as a result of a pilot IVF program (i.e. free on the NHS).
