My immediate question is, WTF kind of venue is this? It's such a bizarre collection of people: there's a Sikh/Hindu dude or two in a turban, there's a couple of middle-aged British (?) wine aunts, some hipster guy with white people dreadlocks at some point, and at least two ghoulish trannies... and a partridge in a pear tree

Are these people at a wedding together? Whose?? Is it a nightclub? A hillwalking club social? It's hardly a work event - if it is, I would love to know where they all work together. It's just such a weird collective I need to know how their coexistence even occurred in the first place.

I think it's just a typical UK midweek nightclub. When I was a teenager we used to call it grab a granny night and someone actually commented the same thing. They probably do cheap drinks and free entry for women (possibly including trans women these days?)
The Indians and Arabic looking people were never around in my day so that's a sign of the times.
I found it interesting watching them dancing with the fat girl and the trannies and later on with an older lady too.
Basically, they seemed to be hitting on anyone who resembled a female.
I used to rent a room to an Indian guy and he was exactly like that.
And I knew a young Algerian guy in France who was manipulating several old women by having fake romances with them, just to rip them off. So that seems to be their M.O pretty much.

One of the comments said, this is where our taxes go. Not sure if I edited that out.
