those go to either turkey or isreal.Vell, zere go ahr tvelve pointz.
youtube probably filters lot of shit, who knows what has been said in DMs on discord or mail. or it's the meaning and not so much the language, who knows.I looked at the previous video about this and there were... only a tiny handful of 'hey this isn't what I'm here for' comments, only one of which I would classify as being anything but very polite.
anyway, getting outraged someone doesn't only do retro pc anymore is a bit much - even if I can somewhat understand it since I don't really care about the laboratory stuff either. we gonna have to wait and see how much he sticks with it, especially when the enthusiasm tapers off (like with the nova) and/or the frustration sets in not getting results.
not too worried, for now just a week I can skip or have running in the background...
don't think time or effectiveness is a big point when it comes to retro computing or getting stuff running like it's the mid-eighties. my guess he'll try to make it work and then it either does at some point or not, after that it can still be analyzed with modern tools if needed. The justification of being able to do analytical work on magnetic storage media of yore is also interesting but I don't see how it could get better results or even faster/cheaper/(way) less time investment than sending samples off to a real analytical lab.
