Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

If you're posting tears in the "I am literally trying over a Poland tweet" forum, then yeah. It wasn't aggression. It was a glorious crusade against the treasonous traitors down south.

(Seriously, I had no idea about this until I was a full grown adult, and folks who had grown up in Pennsylvania expressed their epic 160 year old salt over Robert E. Lee.)

Wait muricans still argue North v South?
I mean slavery was fucked but was economically motivated more than anything and there were some laws to protect slaves from owners in some states but "Manifest Destiny" is literally "White Man Supremacy" and was a north thing.
Besides if slavery was abolished 30 years later with a better education net and owners realizing by themselves, generally speaking, how bad slavery is then probably the US wouldn't have such racial issues.

The point of mayors is to look out for their own cities. Not promote themselves in international politics. Nice job de Failsio.

Also, hundreds of thousands of former slaves (at least 1/4th of the total number according to one estimate,) might not have died of disease and starvation within 5 years of the war's end:

Mainstream Media: "Russia is getting too powerful, we have to stand against Russian aggression."
Trump: "I agree."
Mainstream Media: "shit shit shit UHHH Russia is...good? Wait, no, fuck..."

Mainstream Media was a mistake - and CNN being suckier than Fox News at the moment is proof of that (even though they ALL suck, regardless.).

it's too long to just post the tweets here, but Michael Ian Black completely fucking lost his shit over the Poland speech

http://twitchy.com/sd-3133/2017/07/...-cant-handle-trumps-praise-of-western-values/
So Michael Ian Black, instead of focusing on being funny, or at the very least trying to poke fun at Trump is instead reeeeing 24/7 on Twitter and getting into slapfights with randos on Twitter. I just want him to shut up and make another season of Stella.

Ah, yes, the imperialist rhetoric of the 1860s. It was a Republican administration then, as well. Of course, winning the civil war and abolishing slavery is nothing to be proud of. There were imperialist campaigns against the native Americans, but I don't think anyone called them savage orientals. I'm sure they've read historical sources I haven't. :optimistic:
Actually the US was involved in wars in Vietnam, China, Japan, Fiji and Taiwan in and around 1860
