From there, he needs to just get his on-shore plans set, most of which is looking towards a summer date. The job boost from that should carry him a bit, particularly in the smaller states.

My guess is the acquiring of Cuba will also happen in the next few months, hopefully giving some level of padding to oil disruption as that really is the main thing that will screw him after this ordeal, assuming the straight gets opened up. As long as oil can be figured out, I think he will be fine.

I am thinking this will be reverse 2025, where Trump does better in the second half, rather than the first.

There is something to the fact that Trump is out there managing military conflicts and, back home, all the opposition can do is to make everyone's flights miserable and throw perpetual tantrums.
