I've always wondered about the feasibility of a suitcase nuke because it's a completely different thing than a raped suicide bomber with a barrel of TNT in their ass. An actual suitcase nuke is theoretically possible but highly infeasible because the technological difficulty in building one makes it a pointless endeavor to pursue.
We didn't keep them in suitcases, but
the US did create tactical nukes that were small enough for one person to carry in a small duffel bag in the 50s. Under 100 lbs.
