Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

If the world goes multipolar and Iran starts pricing its oil in Rials, that currency is going to moon like bitcoin.
You should check with all the people who made the same bet on the Dinari after the 03 invasion.

No because you acted like the ‘fuck with trade’ is a reasonable position when it isn’t. Iran is not going to fuck with trade because the U.S. already have naval and air superiority in the strait. When someone pushed back on your statement, you try to cover yourself as just reporting some bullshit from WSJ, but we all know you actually, unironically believe this bullshit.

Just like you actually, unironically believed tariffs would cause a recession.

I'm not trying to argue with you (that would be against the forum guidelines) but I have to point out that Iraq and Iran are different countries and confusing them is a sign of low intelligence. Also gambling is jewish and gay, and I wouldn't expect them to pay me even if I was right, so I'm not going to do any Forex Spread Betting (I think is what it's called) but I have to point out that the risk/return ratio would make the Rial a good bet.

No one said they were the same country. You had their similarities pointed out to you, and how that worked out last time for a country we didn't completely flatten into the dirt.

You are claiming that a country that is now mass printing a new 10,000 Bill, a thing that is an indicator of extreme hyperinflation, is going to come out of this the wealthiest country in the world. It is cope on the same level as thinking the favela shitholes of Brazil are a good place to live, or that a Russian Commiebloc Apartment with no central heating is the pinnacle of luxury. You reveal your ignorance of the situation, and your brown flesh, by misunderstanding how geopolitics works to such a degree that you can't even understand what you did wrong.

It's fascinating to see how butt hurt so many people are that they don't have Pride Parades in Tehran.
Could you post some screenshots of the people who want the pride parades? I've never heard anyone saying that on either side. Most libs know better than to assume that the muzzies will ACTUALLY be pro-Gay, so they just make arguments around it all day. Is this from reddit or something?

We are all familar with MAD. Your point?
Are you familiar with MAD? It is not what happens when any two nuclear powers are in a conflict that escalates to nuclear use. It’s what happens when two superpowers with thousands of nukes exchange nuclear weapons after exhausting counterforce options and begin the grim work of headless countervalue exchanges from submarine platforms. If the US were to nuke Iran, who is going to press the suicide button on their behalf? There is no country that would guarantee countervalue strikes for Iran. Iran, if nuclear, would have one and only one leg of the triad, just enough to attack once and maybe not even that. North Korea’s security is backstopped by China’s deterrent, and their conventional artillery forces which could level Seoul. Their nukes are supportive of that, not sufficient in and of themselves. Iran has no true strategic partners, that is part of their defense doctrine.

Debatable because they'd probably launch nukes within minutes of a nuke detonating as a retaliation.
If you only have one nuclear triad option, and a country is considering nuclear weapons on you, and especially with the level of preparedness iran had (Assuming nothing was different other than them having The Bomb) you can easily be stopped from using it. For example, you drop the opening salvo ON the launch site. Nuclear launch sites are not easy to hide, it's why video games often have plot points about a weapon of mass destruction that CAN'T be easily seen. Because Iran would be the only country using a nuclear arsenal in retaliation, it would be a cinch to destroy their site and THEN begin the glowrain.

Agree, but they'd be weighing up the consequences of breaking the nuclear taboo. No-one will strike back on Iran's behalf, but it does make it more likely that other nuclear powers will use theirs in similar conflicts.
