Trump's war in Iran vaguely reminded me today of a British mini-series called "the final cut" from 1995. In it, you have a British prime minister who has essentially crushed his domestic opposition entirely. He eventually has a government filled up with second-rate people whose virtue is loyalty to him. He gets board and decides he wants to do something overseas. He then launches and ill-considered war which goes terribly wrong.

And in the end, his own wife and his own security services off him. Because its the only way to preserve his reputation in history.

Can't wait for Trump to endorse Cornyn anyways.

Doesn't matter at this point. The point of dropping out of the run-off was Tuesday.
So even if Paxton dropped out officially, he'd still be on the ballot, and will likely win the run-off, and I doubt any amount of money Cornyn drops in this run-off will actually affect the election, unless it goes towards cheating (which is probably not a good idea with Paxton currently being AG).

At this point, there is no reason for Trump to endorse anyone.

The current DC cherry trees were also a gift from Japan in 1912 (there was a prior attempt in 1910, but those trees arrived infested and died). There are regular exchanges of seedings and cuttings, and after WWII the DC trees provided cuttings to replant in cities where their trees had been destroyed by the war. It's one of the most wholesome bits of diplomacy out there.

The majority of them are planted all around the Tidal Basin near the Jefferson Memorial. They're really lovely when they're in full bloom.

I mean that's exactly what it is, they are going to gut fuck that guy for going against them, nothing else to, a story as old as time.

All to no real end, this will be the most unpopular War in our lifetime if it continues, it doesn't matter if they gutfuck Kent to death, it isn't like he's the one who peeled back the curtain, no one really wants a boots on the ground conflict at the behest of Israel, even if everyone hated Iran.

If you haven't, I'd recommend checking out the 40th Anniversary Macross Album, it's just the singers from the last two series, doing each other's songs but they have have a medley version of Ai Oboete that's a great tribute. Or I could just pull it up, YouTube has one that hasn't gotten nuked. I actually have one of the versions the album, because they did that Japanese thing of multiple different versions with one different song. Some of those girls can sing.

A few years ago they had a concert that had all the singers from all the Macross Series, even Macross II. It was not recorded, because it Japan and it was for the fans that could make it. You just know some aviator wants to blast some Macross songs while dumping every missile on the plane at some poor bastard. The F-15EXs are pretty much built to do that after all.
