Well, the Russians lie as SOP, but they're usually reasonable lies. China lies about everything to look like Number One. India is always full of shit, but usually incompetently so. No one cares about Brazil or South Africa, they don't matter much on the geopolitical front. Muslims like to fluff themselves up. I don't see anybody else reporting this and I have no idea who Shelby Talcott is. But a google search shows that she works for a publication named Semafor. This publication, according to wikipedia, was founded by Buzzfeed and funded by Sam Bankman-Fried, MasterCard, and Pfizer. Oh, and many members of its editorial board have known high level relationships with the CCP.
Well, some of us have argued that putting canards on a "stealth" aircraft is a...bold design choice. Not that F-22s or F-35s should be getting into dogfights, their combat data networking is impressive enough that the first time you know an F-35 can drop you is when the missile it fired at you turns it's own radar on. They're also better at dogfighting now than they were earlier in their testing, some of the issues they had were from deliberately limiting their flight profile to slowly work up to what the airframe is actually capable of, not what the egg heads think it can do.
Ultimately I think the quibbling about when to start and who did it is a waste. Just a way to fill space. What matters is that we did start and Iran is dying, albiet 30 or 40 years too late.

I suppose the good news is that if they did get sunk, it's just an LCS and the biggest loss would be the crew. The Avengers were getting pretty old. Supposedly they have all kind of drone stuff so we don't have to send people in harm's way, we'll find out but I hope they do work out. It would be nice to find a good use for the LCS.
