Official Kiwifarms Turn-On List - Describe your ideal man here (women only).

Maybe that's why I have such an utter dislike for women using any kind of perfume. I am subconsciously seeking out the perfect foid (endearing) smell, and my body rejects these artificial distractions.
Yeah I’m not a fan of cologne on men either or perfume generally. Even if it’s nice stuff, it’s kind of concealing somehow.

I don't understand the long hair meme. What's the appeal? I mean that respectfully, I genuinely am asking what the appeal is, if my tone sounds off. Men with long hair, especially the one with boys, always look like either homeless men or former catamites grown out of their age to me.

Happily married to a great big mechanic who loves me and my cooking and corrects me when I get over emotional about stuff. I have to say one thing that is really attractive to me about my husband is that he's not super emotional. Men who cry and whine and complain and bitch about every little fucking thing drive me insane. A man can be 6'3 and 250lbs of solid muscle with a perfect face and the second you cry in front of me about dumb shit I no longer find you attractive and might not ever again.

I don't know, it's just my thing. I like rock/metal so it's a part of that I guess. I think an average looking man is elevated when he has long hair. Kind of caveman style, pick me up and throw me around kind of thing.

I'm also a long-haired-guy enjoyer. I haven't dated many guys, but none from handful I did had shorter hair than mine. There's just something about the way a man tucks his hair behind the ears or the way the hair gets parted leaving the nape of his neck exposed that is very erotic to me. Half-shaved head with long hair is hot, too. While I prefer dark blond hair and green eyes, every hair and eye color is fine to me. Light skin is unnegotiable, though.

While I don't care about muscles and I find guys who make going to the gym their personality lame and gay, an attractive man IMO has to do some physical activity and/or do something with his hands that's not typing, playing videogames or cooming. Whether it's carpentry, cooking, or playing the drums, as long as it's an activity that creates something with one's hands.

I also like guys who aren't afraid of being silly or even a bit ridiculous if it's intentional for others' entertainment and if they own it. Playfulness and boyishness are sexy as long as they're coming from someone who's not an immature retard. These days I also prefer a guy that's not much of a thinker or a reader, but is still curious and open enough to learn new things by doing them , as opposed to just reading or theorizing.

Prosocial behavior is also sexy as hell, and so is being a good son/grandson/brother/nephew. Guys flexing wealth on social media or complaining about social issues (no matter which side of the political spectrum) make my vag drier than a pooner's, but seeing a guy replying warmly to a comment from his auntie or granny on Facebook legit makes my ovaries tingle.

It can be nice or awful. Thick long hair that’s clean and neat is nice, and looking like late stage def leppard or a troon isn’t. But long hair on a nice looking guy that’s clean and well kept? Yeah it can be attractive. It’s not common for older guys to have great hair though. It’s mainly a youth thing.

Yeah this is a good one.
I’m not sure i have some sort of platonic physical ideal of man in my head - the problem with that is you can then encounter real people who are different but better in many ways yet they don’t fit a prescribed ideal.
I like intelligence, but I don’t equate it much with education. So it’s great to be able to hold a conversation with a man, but intelligence alone isn’t enough. I’ve spent the last decades around scientists and medics who are intelligent on paper yet very limited and dull in thought. Plenty who are supposed to be super smart but parrot the latest social downloads and don’t ever think.
I like men who think, rather than self professed intellectuals. Anyone can be a good thinker, you don’t need a higher education you need to have lived and had your eyes open and read. I’d rather be with a carpenter who reads books than a PhD who can’t think outside his field.

I quite like tall men, but I’ve dated short ones who I found very attractive. So height is nice but not a deal breaker. I’m pretty short so almost all men are taller than me. Can’t deny that a guy big enough to put me over his shoulder is a turn on. Not too tall, about six foot is perfect.
I like men who are interesting to talk to, have read a lot, have things they’re really interested in. I like men who are practical and can make and fix stuff. I like men who act like men, not the creepy male feminist type. I like men who work with their hands and mind.
I’d like a man who genuinely, fiercely loves me, protects me and cares for me and accepts care and love in return. someone who is good to spend time with, whether it’s actively doing something or companionable silence while I sit and read.
Appearance? Not sure I really have any kind of set ideal. All sorts of looks can be nice looking. I like pale skin and green eyes and red hair, and broad shoulders but none of those are absolutely necessary. Finding someone sexually attractive is essential.
Certain things I don’t like. Poor hygiene is an no. NPC type mindlessness. Mindless consumerism. Any hint of cruelty, cruelty towards animals, or humans. Not terribly keen on tattoos, but one or two wouldn’t be a deal breaker. I don’t like being put down or made to feel stupid. I’ve had my confidence badly eroded over the years by that, and I would want someone who makes me feel good in myself.
Some people make you feel like a better version of yourself and others make you feel small and useless.

I'm very curious to know what we all mean when we say "long hair" on men, because I suspect it varies a lot more than when people say "long hair" on women. I'd consider long hair on men being past the shoulders. Jason Mamoa has long hair. I guess going with the GoT theme, would you call Jon Snow's hair long? I mean it goes past his ears and he can pull it back, but it would be called short or mid/medium on a woman. Ben Schwarts and Joe Keery are known for their thick, voluminous hair, but I would say the length is short, maybe mid length on Keery. What about random Google images man? I would describe his hair as neither short nor long, medium length.

I'm more of a short-to-mid length enjoyer myself (above the shoulders), as long as it's full and healthy. I make an exception for metalheads because there's something so nice about the contrast between the super long hair and the otherwise masculine style. They are the only guys I like makeup and nail polish on too.

Long hair is like, Jail Arc Varg Vikernes to me. Long, straight, gross. Feminine. I personally prefer shorter haircuts. Long bangs and short sides, boyish, is my favourite.

I’d say Mr. Random here has mid length hair. It’s clean and well kept and suits him. (He does look like the sort of man who takes too much care of his appearance, drinks a lot of coffee, catcalls you from a moped, and sulks though.) Long hair that’s badly kept is not nice, and if you’re receding at all it looks weird.

I agree with @Otterly that's mid-length. I define long hair as below the shoulders.

He looked fine for my taste back then, but besides the fact he's aged like milk, I consider his autism more of a turn off than the fact he's a murderer. Too bad way too many metalheads are in the spectrum and/or nerds — I often find them hot but as soon as they say or do something autistic or mention typical nerd interests such as anime, RPG, trading card games, LOTR, etc they might as well say they're troons.

(ETA: Oddly enough, most of my female friends are autistic and that doesn't bother me at all, it's male autism that I have zero tolerance for)

The capacity for violence is also a turn on for me if wielded the right way — such as when protecting his loved ones. Men who get aggressive for no good reason or men who aren't aggressive at all are equally unattractive imo.

I'd edit my previous post to not doublepost but there is no option to do so. But something else I've just realized makes a man super attractive: getting along with his dad.

I've been hanging out with a new friend group, and met this guy who brought up having fully cattified his home together with his dad for his adopted cats - the guy is in his thirties, owns his place and is a handy person himself, but the dad wanted to help and spend some bonding time with his son.

For nearly a decade, I've been fine with being a single cat lady for the rest of my life, but suddenly I wouldn't mind being a cat wife/daughter-in-law, heh.

I had already noticed guys with absent fathers (emotionally or otherwise) often are terrible partners - not only they didn't learn to be good men from the one person that should've taught them, they blame their mothers for it, and will blame the woman they're with for their own shortcomings. But it just clicked now that having a good father is also a huge part of what makes a man an attractive mate.

PALO ALTO, CA—According to a report released Tuesday by sociologists at Stanford University, there’s not a single potential partner out there who will ever be as kind, caring, or intelligent as your eighth-grade boyfriend, the first and last guy who totally “got” you and the only one you truly loved.

Noting that he made you feel things you won’t ever feel again, the report confirmed that no one else can stack up to your middle school sweetheart, Brian Boughton—the one who shared your first kiss, knew how to play the first verse and chorus of Green Day’s “Time Of Your Life” on his guitar, and also liked to read.

“Based on the evidence, it’s clear that Brian is as good as it will get for you—past, present, or future,” said Dr. Theresa Cheung, who co-authored the 43-page report on the boy you broke up with two decades ago when his family moved to Maryland. “While there may be some guys who come close to him in some areas, they will never have that complete package of good looks, rebelliousness, humor, and skateboarding ability that made you weak in the knees.”

“What you had with him was really special,” she added. “And it’s something you won’t ever be able to replicate no matter how hard you try.”

Cheung, whose research team analyzed all of your romantic partners since Brian and found none of them even holds a candle to the fun-loving boy who had a cool chain wallet, stated that you will never again feel as free and alive as you did with the guy you went out with for six weeks when you were 13 years old. In addition, she said, no boyfriend will again allow himself to be as vulnerable around you—like Brian did when he bought you two pink carnations on Valentine’s Day, or the time he let you see him cry after his grandmother died.

The report also found that no other guy will ever be as understanding as Brian was, citing the time he took you to see Jurassic Park, bought you a box of Mike and Ikes, and reached for your hand to comfort you during the scary parts.

Cheung went on to affirm that behind the edginess that made your parents uncomfortable, Brian was really sweet and had hazel eyes that you could stare into for hours.

“The man you’re currently interested in, to take but one example, will never measure up to the boy who wrote heartfelt love notes and slipped them into your locker for you to find later,” Cheung said. “This new guy may have a lot going for him, but here’s what he doesn’t have: a Sony Discman containing the Dead Kennedys’ Frankenchrist that the two of you can cut class and listen to. Brian had that.”

“Face it, this is a pattern you will continue to experience for the rest of your life, always hoping for someone as wonderful as your eighth-grade boyfriend but always coming up short,” she continued. “No one will ever compare to him and you will never feel as special as you did in his cool basement. This is a fact.”

According to the report, while Brian long ago moved on with his life, there are still times when he looks back fondly on his youth and secretly pines for his first true love, the girlfriend he had in tenth grade.

I love a lot of people so this is gonna be hard lol, but I'll try:
  1. thick women and men
  2. dark hair and light eyes or the inverse (skin color don't matter)
  3. creative and artistic people
  4. piercings and tattoos
  5. cool makeup
  6. dresses in a way where they wear the clothes, not the other way around
  7. Just generally funny and really sweet
  8. great cook
  9. doesn't look too unhealthy

I grew up watching Deep Space 9 and Stone Cold Steve Austin and playing Command and Conquer, so I used to have a thing for bald guys with beards.

I say "used to", because this is a genre of men that just doesn't exist any more. Either they go on the finasteride and grow tits and troon out (or don't bother with the hormones and just get a cheap synthetic wig, Andy Wachowski style), or they go one of two insufferable self-obsessed ways and either turn into soyjaks or manosphere groyper faggots, and they're all fucking insane cluster Bs. People rightly complain about the tomboy genocide, but trans and porn addiction (but I repeat myself) also came for the Leninmaxxers.

Being able to acknowledge when its time to listen and not give unsolicited advice. It shows me he's listening to me and not just there to make me shut up about my problems. Sometimes I just need to get it out without someone trying to give me advice I didnt ask for.

Confidence in his appearance. Even if he thinks he's ugly.

For the love of god TALK ABOUT YOUR INTERESTS. I don't care about him being a fucking dork.

I was going to say there must be loads, but then I’m thinking, and you’re right. Have to say this isn’t a genre that appeals to me so much, but I can’t think of any younger ones. Sean Connery? Jason statham? That chap who was in Vikings? (I looked him up, travis fimmel.)
It’s going to have to be Ming the Merciless on repeat for you.

Feel pure shite, just want my Norwooded sexy goth bad boy. I'm an ageing tomboy so I feel like I have a duty to find my other dead 90s cultural relic and repopulate the species.
