You know at this point American mainstream news media itself might deserve its own thread in the Community Watch sub-forum (if it hasn't already) given how things have developed. If the latest kvetching about that gif hasn't proven that these "journalists" are way more autistic than bronies and the Sonic fandom by now, I don't know what will.
Its getting to the point of where some theories about this being next level scripted reality tv might be true. Like...damn. Come on now. The media knows what to do. No platform. Ignore. Suppress. And generally treat them like they treated Ron Paul and Ross Perot. So massive, scripted, incredibly meta collusion on an amazing, just astounding scale.
Its either that or (((certain groups))) had gotten so arrogant that even the so called professionals have went with Mafia logic of "It doesn't matter if you do sloppy work when you own everyone", because they honestly believed they already had the Electoral College completely clenched thanks to decades of work on every front.
Can you imagine G.H.W. Bush and all his cronies seeing more than 60 years of work, of social engineering with the massive standing military and letting academia become everything McCarthy screeched about, of demographic change from the 1965 Acts to Reagan's treasonous Amnesty and everything else, of starving the working and middle class of spare capital to slowly silence their voice in politics, of all of it. Just to see it all come crashing down to nothing, because their replacements had drank the koolaid thinking it was water just like the rest, and were behaving like full on retarded amateurs? No skill at all. None. Total hamfisted shitshow. Just the tiniest bit of humility, of doing their job right, of even handedness, of showing that weren't so stupidly, eyegougingly incompetent. Just a little patience. A little fear. Had Clinton pandered and cared even a little about the Upper MidWest, done anything to assure people that no, Tumblr was not about to Assume Direct Control, just enough to get 150,000 votes in the right area. Had the media not behaved...I mean wow. Its still amazing.
I mean this is either the greatest show on Earth by some amazing actors, or holy shit everyone involved fucked up super hard.
