I started to work in this company (it’s in one of the racist slavic countries) when I was 22. Coincidentally, I found my former classmate who works in the same company as well. This was my first full time job so I got excited (plus naive) and I publicly stated to people I’m jewish at the time and believe in hashem. I also brought up that I’m a detransed lesbian and shared sensitive information to him. Mind you, he was my only “friend” at the time and he had a big friend group at work. I knew about the laws and stuff where people like me can literally be executed for being the way I am. But this work place was liberal…or so I thought.
This friend group, especially him, shamed me for my beliefs publicly at work. To the point where he was like “um you killed Christ, your lot spreads degenerate flith to everyone and should be wiped from this world” or “the modern jews worship in the synagogue of satans”. Many people have heard this around me so when it was lent, people naturally asked why I wasn’t fasting and I straight up said I’m jewish. They asked what that means and I said I believe in hashem being the creator of this universe. People in that friend group especially were like "ok you jewish dyke trash". In this group, there was an outspoken lesbian who is Muslim and shamed me for my beliefs being like “so we listening to yahudi scum now?” Or “she’s confused yall. she used to identify with they/them pronouns”. Mind you, my coworker/former classmate claims that’s SHE is his bestie when he doesn’t even agree that her sexuality should exist in the realm of Christianity. He always reminded me what happened to people in Lot and said that I will burn in hell. Cuz of how he publicly stated who I am, random people I talked to asked if I was a lesbian and jewish, and they were like “you would literally go to hell”. TO. MY. FACE. This person has indeed apologized to me later but everytime she mentioned seeing women or trans people kissing in Georgian clubs (she was on vacation there), she would say ew that’s so disgusting. She knew I was in a relationship with a woman and would say that.
Anyway back to the coworker guy, he found out throught the grape vine that my partner is an atheist and indirectly shamed her being like “atheists are all weirdo degenerates who masturbate with the blood of animals and rape dogs unlike Christianity where they teach good moral values”. Or whenever he sees me on call (we are long distance so we would be on call from time to time) he would be like “ohh I see you’re on call…? Man idk how yall have sex cuz it doesn’t make sense. What positions yall even do”. That’s when I lost it and told him off. I said “that is fucking inappropriate and private. You are not to disrespect her. You can make fun of me all you want but never make fun of her or our relationship. Your own bestie has had orgys but you don’t tell her off??”. He shut his niggerfaggot cum-filled mouth up for a while. He silently said “well cuz I’m afraid to tell her off…you know how she is. She’s intimidating”. I was like “well, way to take advantage of my kindness”. From time to time, he would talk about me being a jew or talk about my sex life…LOUDLY WHERE EVERYONE CAN HEAR. I told him off immediately, being like “there are people here and you saying shit like that is not okay asshole” and gesturing him to stfu. He awkwardly laughed and walked away with a tail between his legs. We have not talked since and he would say hi here and there or engage in a conversation but I would be as dry as possible. I would not look at his direction and just pretend he’s not there. Yea…that’s petty but the shit he did is unforgivable.
Moral of the story kiwis, keep your life private in a work setting. Kinda obvious but shit like this happens and boy…have I learnt it the hard way."
