You know, it’s crazy because I literally saw Heidi in person at a Japanese airport days after posting the comment you’re replying to. She looked so happy and was by herself of course. Yeah, you don’t really see YouTubers have OF anymore unless they’re selling spicy art or something. Streamers most definitely have an overlap though. I think it was smart of him to capitalize on the gay people following him though.

I don’t think they’ve talked in forever. Heidi was in the airport by herself which says a lot in my opinion. Holly started a clothing brand which is just her designing cardigans and having them made in a Chinese factory. She recently shut it down as tariffs make it hard to produce.

Looking back it's really baffling :
Jared: cheated on his wife; was weirdly close to minors; had to leave his youtube network, got fired from his DnD Job, got called a pedofile and hat his nudes leaked , mocked on the internet and lost like 25% of his subscribers
and
Holly: slept with a married man and got called a homewrecker on twitter
And still Holly had a way bigger meltdown and ruined her career far worse than Jared.
Jared isn't doing good, but generally he's still doing what he did before and seemingly makes ends meet. Holly seems to be just gone and irrelevant.

Not sure if having to beg your subscribers to finance you a new PC or starring in gooning streams for gay men counts as "doing well", but what in the hell kind of "career" did Holly have? Seriously all I know of her is her being the "trash witch" in Critical Role.

She had a sizeable let's play channel, did arts and craft livestreams about her cosplay and I think she was also a cosplayer-for-hire/hostess for conventions.
Now she... I think she is printing T-Shirts on etsy or someting?

What I was specifically getting at: Did Holly even have to be part of that trashfire? Yeah, she was part of the cheating. And that was gonna provoke some sort of discussion. But Jared had like seriously allegations made against him including a whole load of leaked images and texts. Holly was basically just a footnote in all of this but she decided "Ya know what? This whole thing is about me!" and inserted herself right in the middle of this drama.
I think if she just had layed low she wouldn't have suffered any major consequences.

She was in the drama because Heidi specifically put her in the drama, the first "salvo" that Heidi fired off was naming and shaming Holly trying to make as much drama as possible before the facts started to actually get out.
Heidi couldn't really lean much into Jared being a creep and fucking fans, because she was also a creep who was into fucking fans (and into him fucking fans, etc). She also fairly clearly had a chip on her shoulder from essentially getting dumped for Holly, despite everything she feels she did (but never actually did) for Jared.

Did anyone happen to catch Deadwingdork's stream on Jared?
I happened to watch a bit of it, it was Dwd looking at Jared's social media and catching up to what he's been up to. (I jumped a bit around the video and got to Dwd roasting Jared's fashion sense and physique)
I tried to go back and watch the rest of it but Deadwingdork privated it. I'm not sure why that was.
Edit: I tried searching it and the video appears in the results, but again, it's privated and only people authorized by Dwd can see it.
Nevertheless, someone went head and archived the Jared stream!

He usually does that for streams, it's nothing special. He has a dedicated archivist called LibraryDork who reups all the raw streams, and he often releases clips as stand alone videos.
