Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

The Iranian "people" were supposed to use the opportunity to protest against the regime but it looks like they are scared to go outside due to bombings... I'm wondering whether US is making a mistake by continuously bombing Tehran instead of focusing on rural TELs. Let them elect a supreme leader, who cares?

The IRGC headquarters in the city of Marivan, Iran's Kurdistan province, was struck by multiple heavy US/Israeli airstrikes.

Iranian channels are claiming that a fire has been detected on the deck of a U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the Arabian Sea, possibly due to an impact by an Iranian anti-ship ballistic missile.

so unless we start refining Monazite, Loparite, and Neodymium in your guys backyards (causes unimaginable pollution) then we are stuck with the current lead times
Stud, are you actually learned in the subject you are speaking of or are you doing the thing we all do when something happens and suddenly LARP as Mr. Expert in whatever relevant field, regurgitating facts you saw on social media without actually doing primary research and making a lot of assumptions based on a foundation of spurious citations?

China was getting Russian oil through Iran, that isn't happening rn. Russian oil is sanctioned to hell and paying them directly fucks Chinese banks with American sanctions. that's not happening. China gets less cheap oil, russia get less bidirectional smuggling through Iran and less iranian goods
Hello again (archive)
Russia is already China’s largest source of crude, accounting for 20 per cent of imports.
“Deepening energy ties with Russia will be one of the big takeaways of this — both crude and gas,” said Neil Beveridge, who leads Bernstein’s China energy research in Hong Kong.
“If Iran turns into a more pro-western state, or they thought it was going to be unstable for a long time, it will push the alliance between Russia and China even closer,” he added.
....
Some efforts are already under way. An oil trader at a state-owned group in the eastern Chinese port of Ningbo, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said China’s oil majors had been increasing Russian shipments in recent weeks. The trader also pointed to plans by state oil group CNPC to restart a mothballed oil refinery unit in Dalian, north-eastern China, which would bolster capacity to handle further Russian imports.
In the longer term, the trader pointed to the emergence of Arctic trading routes as polar ice melts, which would open up faster and cheaper shipping lanes for oil via Europe and lift volumes from Russia.
Analysts said Beijing would also consider accelerating plans to build the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline, which would supply natural gas from north-west Russia through Mongolia and into China. The multibillion-dollar pipeline had been expected to be built by the early 2030s.

???????????????
The whole point is to butcher the regime so the nuclear threat never exists again in literally any format. Letting them elect a new supreme leader is repeating the same mistake whatever years ago when we halfassed this very process and just kicks the can down the road.

So I just realized, size wise, Iran is the largest single enemy we have every faced in combat
1772652634881.png 1772652601966.png

both in 39 and by 44 Germany was smaller than Iran by about 10 million
1772652674891.png

just wanted to highlight just how absurdly BIG of a nation we are talking about. Germany survived about 2 years of the entire world trying to defeat it by both land sea and air all while allegedly using vast amounts of their resources to try an exterminate another group.
Ask the UK or even ask your own gran pappy how many muntions we dumped on the germans

they were abused, starving, bombed out and losing, no popular revolt EVER broke out, even an attempt coup by officers was destroyed in its inception.

Just some food for thoughtt

so we have fired nearly 3 years worth of missiles in about 5 days
"3 years worth of missles"

You mean like, 6 months? What the actual fuck are you talking about retard?

This sort of subversion is easily handwaved by just looking at the legally mandated delivery capacity for these munitions making companies is, and their deliveries on a yearly basis.

Shut up, fuck off, stop trying to be some sort of fucking asset.

Bombing Iran is fucking awesome and there is no spin you can put on it to reduce that in amy way.

It's the kurds, they will go into this thinking they will gain ground, and then be told to back and sit in their "no state of our own" chair in the corner.

On the topic of Turkey though I wouldn't be surprised if we end up seeing a repeat of their play in Syria where the Turks rush in and sieze "buffer zones" both to control possilbe refugee movement and also just a buffer against kurdish forces in the region.
The issue is Turkey can't do the same play in Iran they did in Syria simply due to the geography

Northern Syria is open desert with the Turkey-Syria border being a line in the sand

The Turkey-Iran border is a massive mountain range with only 3 passes through it.

You can always kill the new supreme leader later. My point is, as long as bombings in the capital continue, the anti-regime people can't really rebel. US is risking resentment the longer this thing continues.

They love their jank ass government that rapes and murders them getting bombed

OK far be it for me to claim to know better, but I would urge at least some skepticism when it comes to budget allocation. If the Pentagon had its way, the military's total budget would be 99% of the federal budget. Just consider what one of your screenshots even says: "US only has 25% of all Patriot missile interceptors needed for Pentagon's military plans" and the screenshot next to it is discussing a "potential china conflict". Like, if we go to all out war with China I don't think the Patriot stockpiles will matter too much? If it's for defending Taiwan... maybe? But for how long? Will the US produce enough Patriots to defend Taiwan from a Russia/Ukraine-length "special operation"? I would avoid taking those numbers too seriously, because those hypotheticals are always tuned to give the Pentagon (and military contractors) more money.

EXCLUSIVE MR. RACEWAR1488 NEWS: We're going to start bombing Tehran with B-17s because we fucking can.

Germany won't deport them for internal political reasons, not because they are unstable.
This is not true at all. They haven't deported them en masse for the same reason other European countries haven't because the EU considers the infrastructure as not stable enough yet to send millions of people back. But the Saudis and europe are now heavily investing and rebuilding Syria. EU countries (including Germany) are pushing them to leave on their own as long as the infrastructure needs more work.

Also there are new, more restricive (but not enough yet in my opinion) EU asylum rules that will come into effect in june and more restrictions are already being worked on. There is also mounting pressure on the EHRC from countries like Italy & Denmark to stop coddling refugees (thanks ladies! ). The next step is a declaration in may this year.

Some may say that's still not enough but since Europe's surge of right wing parties more is probably to come and as long as it hurts rapefugees I'm all for it.
