Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

This kind of thing isn't entirely new. American history is filled with these little micro-conflicts that were resolved relatively quickly (in comparison to many European wars) like the Barbary Wars or individual Indian conflicts, Desert Storm, etc. Maybe not as swift as this or Maduro, but we've long had an extremely effective military that has the capacity for what we've seen in Iran. In cases like Vietnam or Afghanistan we just had to have one hand behind our back because of political interests or people in office actively undermining our efforts.

Trump has more or less brushed off the international powers that would usually get in the way of these kinds of operations.
About all they can do now is tsk tsk and finger wag.
He is doing this to score political points in my opinion. He needs wins and he can't get them at home. He figures that getting them abroad is better than nothing. However if I were him I'd focus on cleaning up Latin America and just cut off the Israelis.

> China, Russia and the rest of the BRICS quietly sit in the cuck chair while the United States of motherfucking America decimates its middle-eastern alliance with barely a scratch.

GODDAMN it feels good to be white.

Última edición:
iran launched a drone into kuwait's main airport, minor injuries reported
literally anything but american bases
They probably tried to hit the bases, but the bases have defenses and the missiles/drones never reach their targets. Iran’s weapons aren’t very accurate and I suspect that a lot of the skyscrapers hits are from them being too dumb to realize that buildings aren’t flat like they appear on satellite maps.

Trump is a delegator, and thus is willing to let the generals run the wars instead of micromanaging them with State Department bureaucrats & on the advice of glowies.
the results speak for themselves.
Shocking that you can do when you let the military experts do their shit and not a bunch of fucking lawyers, policy wonks (like every fucktard on POD save America), theater kids, and Dei hires that think they know Jack and shit (aka every single Obama and Biden admin functionary)

It is generally a bad idea to attack enemy leadership. There is a reason why in the west assassinations on political and even military leaders is frowned on. with intact leadership, you can get an enemy to stand down or surrender. Without it, you may have to fight them to the last man, which while they are all dead it also means more of your troops are dead.

This is a war for Israel. The jews don't want solid regimes they can negotiate with. They want weak, feeble failed states they hope to one day take over, even though they are heavily risk adverse and do not have anywhere near the populous to do so.

You only need to look at Iraq and documentaries like No End in Sight (2007) to see how the W. Bush regime intentionally put absolutely incompetent people in the reconstruction efforts. It's the same way Obama carpet bombed Libya and created a multi-million dollar slave trade overnight, or Israel has spent decades to finally bring down Syria to start occupying some of the southern regions.

Iran's poplation is 90 million. they are one of the most populous countries in the region. If Iran collapses, there is no telling who will emerge with the reigns, but they will have a large population at their disposal.

This has all happened before and it's happening again. Remember, the US/UK removed Mohammad Mossadegh, their democratically elected leader, in Operation Ajax. That led to the Shah and everything since. It's funny Tump mentions the hostage situation from decades ago. You know what was found in that embassy? Documents showing it was a revolving door for CIA operatives. If it wasn't for US/UK/EU meddling for decades, Iran would probably be a westernized/democratic country.

So has A Call for an Uprising (my favourite schizo-poster):

what do you mean he can't get them at home. deportations are still moving steady. libs have relented more and more into letting ICE operate freely, the protests are basically dead. seriously, i'm curious what you mean by this but it's a bit off topic for the thread. if you want to, please ping me in USPG2 or my profile, i'd be interested in discussing it.

They work pretty darn good. These sorts of failures are humorous to watch, but not a death sentence for the entire program.
it makes me more nervous because one failure like this for an actually important asset is all it takes for that asset to be gone, and then you get both the bad publicity, the lost asset and on top of it all, you have to actually figure out why the missile failed. i have plenty of faith but that looks really bad for the patriot system. i'd love to see some posted of successful defenses. the missiles themselves are very cool though.

i'm hoping whatever laser turrets we have on the border are what we're adapting to use as new missile defense weapons as well.

It really didn't go how Iran thought it would.

They fired a missile and it fell down and supposedly killed a bunch of little girls (It was 12, then 30, then 54, then 61, now 82) at school learning to read.

Little girls.
Learning to read
On a Saturday
In Iran.

Yeah, OK.

Anyway, here's the missile

They're claiming the picture is actually from further to the North, where it just fell on an apartment building.

So, they shot at Saudi Arabia.

They aren't amused.

Of course, Europe has had nothing to say but "Um, we are defensive..." but that's to be expected.

Not like the US is surprised.

The Iranian Navy got fucked.
HCRvRWRWsAA4yZ2.jpg

Early reports say it's US subs caught them at anchor. They better have been playing the Jaws theme on that shit.

When it all happened, the leadership ran to the same building...

And got smoked.

Their ammo supplies are fucked:

Underground Ordnance storage

Same with this. Fuel and ordnance.

So, it's been a fun time for Iran, who is claiming they have sunk 3 US ships, that their leader is totes alive guys, he'll be making a speech any second (as soon as they find the rest of him, I guess), and supposedly in Baharian or however you fucking spell it, a skyscraper is on fire and Iran is claiming it was full of all the leaders of the US and Israel, including Hegseth.

And of course, you have people like A Syrian Girl and Hasan all claiming that the strait is shut down and showing a bad MS Paint job, while you can just go online and see that shipping is still moving.

The concern is fair and the loss of face is something that you can feel.

But the people mocking you are self-hating leftists or impotent regional or great powers of varying levels of worthlessness.

Russia is such a fucking cucked joke of a country.

These overconfident retards invaded Ukraine thinking they'd be able to overpower their army, capture or kill Zelenskyy and force it into submission in just three days, only to now be starting year four of a prolonged conflict, with 1.2 million dead Russian soldiers leaving their allies undefended. They had to ask for help from fucking North Korea, a country that hasn't fought a war since the 50s, and even then that ended up getting 6000 of them liquidated by Ukrainian forces. As a result, the Assad regime fell and got replaced, and the Ayatollah has been drone striked to hell.

And vatniks mean to try and fucking tell everyone that Russia's going to "get serious" one of these days and show its real power? After leaving two of its key allies to rot while it churns more of its men away at a failed war of conquest?
It is interesting that Russia is in year 4 of a conflict with one of the flattest countries on the earth, one which every horse nomad in history could conquer in 4 days, while the US may have buck broken a famously mountainous region where the eastern part is literally called the Graveyard of Empires in a matter of hours.
