Just put an actual citizen from the country on the phone/text chat and when they start calling them bigoted/internalized racism or whatever, just have them start slinging localized slurs so they get enriched.
Seems like a lot more of the government and military are being targeted than just Khomeini, so let's see here, plus outsider factions. The IRGC was already facing crisis after crisis and was not popular already esp after the massive revolt a few months ago that lead to the killing of 30K civilians. So, let's see how this shakes out, I'm hoping for a non Islamic goverment leader.
Until islam is pushed out of the region this could very well happen again.
A non Muslim government in Iran wouldn't last long without some form of active intervention. Most realistic option would be a sunni government thats at least friendly to the west.
