While more of a global issue, this is still relevant to the US.

Do you guys agree that feminism/troonery could be solved within a couple years if there was a mandated requirement for all students to, at least wrestle, full force against the opposite sex to graduate high school? A few rounds boxing/kickboxing would also work but that seems excessively likely to cause injury.

I genuinely believe that having an actual experience of the vast gulf in strength between men and women would solve both of these issues.

Maybe, if that's the case one must wonder why they ever took the contract in the first place then? OpenAI, Google, and xAI also got the same deal.

TBH, if they make the government AI killbots to wipe out all of the now superfluous rabble that AI has replaced, that feels like double dipping. Let someone else get a lick, impo.

I question the effectiveness of such an idea. How many cases are there of male-to-female transgender individuals realizing the error of their ways after facing the opposite gender?

According to my source who works in the public sector, genai.gov uses Google Gemini, and has a "coming soon" for ChatGPT, Grok, and (I guess probably no longer after this anouncement) Claude.
My speculation is the government probably has two requirements other than the American one:
1. The chatbot need to be uncensored and uncucked so they can use it for war and clandestine operations.
2. The government is allowed to host the model weights locally on their own servers rather than relying on an API.
#2 Is where Anthropic appears to have drawn the line—they sounded like they were fine with LLMs being weaponized, but the thought that they woudn't be able to train on the holy grail of top secret documents and proprietary tech was too much for them.

It wouldn't be to convince the troons, it'd be for the moderates that just took feminist/hyper egalitarian talking points as fact and never questioned it. Average women getting btfo by a seemingly below average or otherwise unremarkable men can really make some of them reassess what they've been told about the difference between the sexes.

Now getting this scenario to actually occur without a massive kerfuffle happening? Good luck. Between men going easy on/taking a dive for women based on chivalrous dispositions/highschool disinterest and the deviants taking advantage of the situation making it a lawsuit minefield, there's no way it'd work as intended.

Canada is honestly fucked. I do not see how their ""right"" can get their shit together other than the very few sane territories trying to split up from the country because of how insane the country has become.

People blame Trump for the ""right's"" Pierre loss. When the actual outcome is he just became the typical never Trumper and blew his own foot out. Idiot (Pierre, not you). He had a lot of momentum from a previous and really shitty administration and he just couldn't hold back his anti-trump rhetoric. He fucking blew it.

We're quite literally seeing the country going into decline before our very eyes, what with Carney threatening to ally with China. Fucking lol. I hope I'm wrong, but I do not see how Canada can get enough of their shit together to actually improve things.

Take this crazy lady, who basically had a psychopathic breakdown and fled the US to 'escape Trump,' and now, can't even find a place to live because Canada is under an even bigger housing crisis then the US.

imo this is posturing on both sides. High chance they come to a deal and all this blows over. Multiple companies get the 200m entry level contract, Claude proved the best model, now they're negotiating.

Why is Musk supporting the DoW position while OpenAI and Google are with Anthropic? Cause Grok is the weakest AI so Musk has the weakest bargaining position.
