I haven’t read any either. I think this is the one thread where drug and opiate abuse has been mentioned and everybody agrees Fredrick was definitely a guy that had every reason in the world to need or use them.

What’s interesting is that a few years ago on Twitter he showed his fentanyl lollipops. Those pops (and patches) are what doctors prescribe to terminally ill ppl with high opiate tolerance. It means he was being prescribed opiate meds at the highest levels. Makes sense Fredrick had them and probably many other legally Rx’ed opiates.

But then it was mentioned he ordered drugs off the darknet, something he had done for years but besides psychedelics a decade ago nobody specified what he was getting off the dark web.

In the interview his partner mentioned he went to a methadone clinic. This means his use of opiates became so dangerous his doctors refused to go higher and/or they were so worried about his level of use that they cut off or drastically reduced his meds.

I’m going to guess Fredrick died due to combining some sort of benzo or tranquilizer with methadone/opiates. It’s a really common way for users to die. They hit a ceiling with opiate use so they add benzos to up the effects - and the CNS depression is so severe from it they just stop breathing in their stupor/ sleep. For a guy with lots of pain in his life it was a pretty painless way to die. The other option is he got something off the dark web that was stronger than he anticipated with the same result - death due to CNS depression in his sleep.
