So since Mauer is wanting to be trans, and a lot of beginning trans people take hormone replacement medication... So could the hormone medication be responsible for their mood swinging and DMCA takedowns?

Sounds like an entitled prick who's projecting their problems onto everyone else.

Alex got into the video game industry, what else do they want? $200 per song isn't enough? and 8-bit of all things... Chiptune is outdated. 2010 is over. They could've at least tried doing actual 16-bit music, that takes buying real synthesizers and compressing samples of patches down to achieve the sound, which is something actual video game composers are still doing, but Alex is too lazy to actually try to make an effort so they resort to using only squares and saws and triangles. It's literally the bare minimum of electronic music. Alex is asking for as much as you'd pay to get a new 3DS, but all you're getting is one never-ending 1 minute 30 second loop of bleeps.

While HRT can contribute to mood swings they do not turn you into a highly volatile mess like Alex here by themselves - odds are that they already had some serious problems that going on HRT (which does indeed do things to you mentally, but nothing this severe) only served to emphasize and make even worse

tl;dr Alex was probably a loon pre-troon and HRT only made it worse
 
Could what HeShe of Gor said to SidAlpha considered a true threat that could get them in jail? Dunno how it works in US, but in my place if you've shown to the police an email saying 'I want to kill myself, but I need to kill you first', it would be enough for them to intervene.

I mean, wow, this is indeed like a downward spiral into madness. Everything Mauer could do wrong, did wrong and it's hilarious, because he doesn't seem to realize that.

Federal law (Chapter 18, title 41, section 875) prohibits sending threats to injure another person interstate. His first message "I literally want to kill you" (emphasis added) probably wouldn't be enforceable under this law. His second, "...kill myself but I need to kill you first" is more likely to fall under it. State laws can also apply. If Alex is still in PA he could find himself being hit with counts of terroristic threats (Title 18, 2706) among other lesser charges (harassment, for example: Title 18, 2709) and\or wherever SidAlpha received the threats.

But it's the kind of law where you usually are going to need a complainant- neither federal agents nor state law enforcement is watching youtube videos looking for threats made against channels. So it could go somewhere if one of the actors actually files a complaint. I think it would be a good idea to at least get Alex pulled in the system for a while and maybe see if he needs a break in a white padded room... although unfortunately that rarely happens anymore.

On one hand, Sid Alpha is a bit of a drama whore so he might go for it. On the other hand, he won't stop riding Jim Sterling's dick so he might just let the threats etc go for fear of being labeled 'transphobic' or something.

Because it's not even about the moral high ground, but a legal one. Nobody is defending the horrid crap Alex has done, though. They're just avoiding looking like toxic assholes so neutral parties don't get confused about who the toxic assholes are.



Being willing to respect someone's gender (even if they're a shit person and testifiably batshit) is important for not looking like a toxic asshole. At this point, "ignoring the pronouns someone wants" is more of a right-wing political statement than anything, even if that person has already lost all respect. Sid does terribly want to be neutral.



Most people view the neutral party grounds as "just rolling with how they want to be addressed", mostly because trying to be dramatic about it and pettily refusing to go with whatever pronoun they use is frankly just inciting drama and being a drama whore if you have any popularity at all.

I personally loathe the shit out of Alex Mauer and I'm happy to refer to him as the human trash he is, but I don't see a point in getting mad that people aren't referring to him as a he.

To reference the whole analogy brought up, popular people aren't his dad. They don't have to clog up the flow of information by bothering to attack his identity, no matter how ridiculous it is, especially when people take those attacks as reasons to invalidate the rest of the extremely relevant news. It's not really their responsibility to tell Alex Mauer that he's a he and he should grow the fuck up or something, even though that statement is pretty much entirely true in the first place.

The responsibility they've currently taken on is "reporting on Alex Mauer fucking with YouTubers". Not "reporting on if Alex Mauer is scared of his own penis".

These mongoloids always break down when they self diagnose. They always think that becoming a girl will magically fix their problems or have people open doors for them, when in reality, the only people who give you free shit because of your looks and not your merit probably aren't people you want to associate with anyway.

Haha! beat me to it! Not only threatening to kill SidAlpha, but also laid down the CIS card with a vengence, and, of COURSE, threatened suicide.

Of all the options available, I am pretty sure this one is going to take the path of least resistance just like how hitting the 'DMCA violation' button on YouTube was the easiest way to 'get those damn developers who screwed me': namely nothing at all but sending more and more angry e-mails as it realizes the shitstorm it's stirred up.

But if it DOES take action, it will most likely be a half-assed suicide attempt. The kind that makes a messy but essentially harmless wound, but causes everyone around to cluck over it like a wounded chick, put it in the hospital and give it lots of nice special attention like it clearly wants. :story: indeed.
