I'm going to refrain from the typical jokes about Americans and knowing European geography, mostly because I can't place more than half the US states myself either.
However, someone should probably inform the US President that Switzerland does in fact not have a Prime Minister - they have a president. Moreover the current president is a man. I don't know what's more funny to me, that this idiot ended up arguing tariffs with a random secretary or he called the Prime Minister of some random country and got in a fight that ends up punishing Switzerland.

Sidenote: Is this shitting himself and wearing diapers real? I heard about it, but wrote it off as a similar troll story like the one about Biden.

Multiple people have said on various occasions how he smells like shit. He’s old as fuck and barely functional. There’s no way he’s capable of wiping his ass, even in a shower, and he seems just spiteful enough to marinate himself in shit and have his lackeys have to tolerate it. The only way he wouldn’t smell like shit is if one of his flunkies like Kash Patel, Pam Bondi, Steven Cheung, or Pete Hegseth routinely sprays his ass with a hose. I’m sure Laura Loomer would be down for that task too.

I think it's mostly people guessing since there are stories of Trump smelling.

Personally I think if he does have an odor it'd have more to do with a poor diet and not being hydrated, causing what odors are secreted through his sweat to be more concentrated. Think of how well known he is for just having a burger and fries rather than trying to eat healthy.

Independents matter quite a bit and majority of the country is against the tariffs. People were ok with doing some tariffs, but not the insane level that Trump decided to start imposing on everyone. Even many Democrats were in favor of using tariff powers which is what made their response more awkward to Trump, since they were having to go against policies many of their unions supported.

But they are unpopular enough now that people can at least go against the IEEPA tariffs that Trump has done which are those insane blanket tariffs he's done on a whim (rather than those that require investigations on specific products).

With the Epstein files, people have gone back and found Trump pretty much was against ever releasing them. There had been some deceptive editing of a couple interviews to make it sound like Trump was in favor of releasing the files before the election, but then the full video came out last year where he was instead waffling about and saying something like "yeah I'm not sure we're going to release that".

Honestly, that's the big issue with the Trump tariffs. They don't seem to have logic behind them; rather, they appear to be made on a whim, and are hurting the US, both economically AND reputationally.

We're not talking about Trump specifically though, we're talking about the republicans in congress that will need to either fall on the sword or save face. I don't have the stats on how many independents voted for what republicans for congress that would be a hell of a lot if you wanted to get the true picture, but as your pew research graph shows, a majority of the R and leading R love them tariffs. My opinion is, the Rs in congress will save face by continuing to say the tariffs are amazing because the people voting for them are too stupid or ignorant to know better.

The whole redefining a day thing, the MAGA people I speak to that believe tariffs work the way Donald says they do didn't even know that was a thing, obviously I don't know and speak to every single MAGA. I just find it funny that based on my small sample size they didn't know it happened and for good reason, they think the tariffs are good.

As for the Epstein thing, you're right, kinda. He never outright said it until he signed it because that was literally the action he was doing, but he wasn't outright against it. He is a politician now after all. The Fox interviews in 2024 where this comes from, his only reservation was about the lives the Epstein files could destroy. But he says he will release them.

Here is the transcript and you can search for Epstein and click the timestamp to see the video of him saying it. It doesn't look deceptively edited to me.
