I have also been to Puerto Rico. I imagine it would be doing a lot better if the tax breaks companies received for investing in operations there had not been repealed under Clinton costing the island nearly half of its revenue! Oh well I am sure that Bill was not influenced by the CCP who ended up benefiting wildly from pharma moving their operations there. Sure he received money from CCP adjacent individuals and sure he received millions after he left the White House from Chinese companies for speeches but surely he did not sell out what was essentially the American economy for his own benefit right? I mean Bill Clinton is a very honest and moral person right?

Sometimes I wonder if tanking that tax exemption was part of a long term DNC plan to force statehood on PR through suffering.
