Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

Maduro had better dance moves and his own EDM remix of speech and he still got taken in his underwear by Delta Force. The Ayatollah is playing it smart by not releasing dance videos.
Clearly Maduro's danso no jutsu was inferior or he would not have been churro'd

Nothing will happen this weekend because there have been many dozens of airlifts into CENTCOM in the last 96 hours of missile defense equipment and other shit, everything will be set up by midweek and Trump will hit the diet coke button next Friday or Saturday

Their "aircraft carrier" looks like something a billionaire with a penchant for remote controlled planes would build.
ngl, that looks fuckin fun, I can't wait to fuck around on it when runs aground.

edit: another C5 stopping at MacDill

I’ve seen pictures of these up close. Try ‘millionaire’ with a long pontoon boat. They’re really small, and could be made by a YouTube autist or a boomer hobbyist. The IRGC uses close up shots to cope with their small size.

Here’s one next to one of Iran more conventional drones. These “stealth” drones are mere toys with upgraded avionics and jet engines that can carry small bombs. Ukraine and Russia have better, deadlier drones than this.

The only Iranian drones worth more than a suicide bomber is their copy of the RQ Sentinel they recreated from a recovered US military unit and the new Shahed Gaza model. The Gaza drone is a Temu Predator and the only Iranian drone with a turboprop, but they only have 3-5 of them.

Algeria has a more capable drone fleet than Iran. It’s embarrassingly bad.

Reversal in the Saudi position, they seem more keen on regime change: https://www.axios.com/2026/01/31/saudi-us-strike-iran-kbs-trump
They just don't want the US to do any strikes from within Saudi due to potential blowback on them.
Commentary on X: https://x.com/visegrad24/status/2017487157061939338
Axios reports that there has been a reversal in the Saudi position on the U.S. striking the Islamic Regime in Iran. Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman (KBS) said in a private briefing on Friday in Washington that if President Trump doesn't follow through on his threats against Iran, the regime will end up stronger. Moments later, it was announced that the U.S. has agreed to sell Saudi Arabia Patriot missile defense interceptors and associated equipment worth $9 billion.

Unrelated, but I've been thinking, due to the internet being blocked, we probably won't see many "on the ground" videos and pictures/news from these strikes like we did with Venezuela near immediately after. I guess we'll only hear about it when the US government or other countries joining in confirms it.

Iran getting bombed super bowl weekend?
;)
I don't pay attention to niggerball so I didn't account for that and I doubt Trump would care since the half-time show is a faggy latino singer. Nothing would kill the NFL faster if the half-time show turned into an anti-war protest.

Liberal media has been crickets on this situation - the money for their protests was coming from the iranian islamic regime, and they're 1. Not going to protest against themselves, and 2. It's terribly bad optics to protest in favour of all the death and destruction the IRGC has wrought.

They won't say a word, not one peep.

He should time the strike to start right at halftime so it either gets pre-empted or has the news ticker running underneath it. If it goes like our last war the whole thing can be done by the 2nd half kickoff.

An apartment building in Bandar Abbas just blew up.

Huh, what's this graffiti? People are claiming it's a "Javid Shah" tag but I don't read or speak Farsi:

Initial reports say it was a gas leak that blew up the building but the building wasn't connected to the gas line:

A wider view of the possible explosion area:

The IRGC has denied reports of the assassination of IRGC Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri following an explosion in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran. Are we seeing initial assassinations before we begin hitting them?

Can confirm, it looks like Javeed Shah and then someone scribbled over it. Not sure if that was someone trying to scratch it out after it was written or if it's some graffiti style.

Also hearing reports of explosions across the country, including in the holy city Qom, per Mahyar Tousi. Israel is denying responsibility and the IRoI has stated it is fully on alert or something despite this supposedly all gas line explosions.

Something to keep an eye on:

This is the second day in a row that Israel hit Hezbollah in Lebanon. When we hit Iran, Hezbollah will strike Israel so they're working on degrading their capabilities before they can do anything. The IRGC is also doing some missile exercises so don't get all hyped up when you see reports of missiles being launched from Iran.

Current time in Tehran is 7:30PM so not dark enough for us to do anything yet.

Iranian airspace hasn't been cleared so strikes are unlikely.

Also thought I'd point out that adsbexchange has a replay feature if any of you want to replay air travel events to verify it for yourself. It's able to go back as far as at least four? months if not more.
