Public vs private property isn't defined by the tax code. It's defined by who holds the title to the property and/or any lease agreement, depending. Nonprofits aren't considered public property. You can cry that they shouldn't be, but they aren't.

It would have had better effect if the person did this in New York City instead of Santa Clara, California. With as whacky as Californians are, however, he's probably no different than the average citizen.
All I can do is shake my head at these people who identify themselves as part of whatever organization subsequently claiming they can't speak for the organization when asked a simple yes or no question. Perhaps it's because they don't want to go on record saying non-citizens should be allowed to vote when many people - regardless of their partisan leanings - don't share that view and would immediate push back against them.
In my part of Kiwi Land, many school districts were expected to consider cancelling classes today because of the early morning temperatures and sub-zero wind chill. However, few if any districts closed for that reason. From what I was told, the teachers unions decided they wanted the kids in class today to take part in the Anti-ICE protests where workers were encouraged to call off, people were told not to buy anything, and students would be encouraged to walk out of class to protest on school grounds. My immediate circle of coworkers and professional colleagues must not have gotten the memo because all of them were where they would normally be on a Friday.
Yeah apparently you can cry and only a few of the big names will be arrested. All the rest of the protesters seem to have gotten off scot free.

It's crazy that we just have thousands of these documents giving you convenient documents on hiw to commit terrorist and fight against the federal government. If we lived in a serious country the people who weite these things would be executed for treason.
