Personal opinions on Timothy aside, the video title makes a fair point. The current batch of actors are almost universally attractive- or at least not average looking like the guy on the left there. And all of them have super white perfect teeth due to veneers.
I like watching British tv because they don’t make as much of an obvious effort to cast “pretty people” as the US does. If representation really is important then US media does a terrible job at representing normal people.
respectfully hard disagree, the pre-post wicked cast, alone, the "please don't talk about my health that's actually toxic"-esque shit their stans parrot aggressively, alongside the buccal fat removal on people like jenna ortega etc, it's closer to a nu anorexia wave of getting models that are attractive but attractive in a specific, androgynous way, like mid drug stardust bowie, and/or forcing them to be further to a lich model. alongside conventionally attractive women like emma d'arcy who are fully in the koolaid and choose to go androgynous.
they also use a very specific form of "attractiveness" particularly on males like widely young justin bieber/boy band shit. women they seem to want going to the ano-age of modelling, or at least androgynous, with tokens/funny deathfats sprinkled. however plastic shops' roles can't be understated, a lot of people in hollywood themselves are/have been so fucked by plastic surgery into looking a specific way. like google ariana grande's victorious stills and then mid-modern day. jenna ortega etc.
i don't think this video has the correct approach or message, because there's still as many talented less modelly people, especially in non slop productions. you could only approach something like this by stepping on a *lot* of feet and stans by really confronting how fucked the plastic surgery industry is and people that push it, and that gary oldman/willem dafoe, who are kinda mid or below if you're harsh besides their amazing acting ability and presence, among others are orders of magnitude more skilled actors and capable of pulling off more roles than the pushed twink wave of chalomet, holland, et. or the pushed stud wave of momoa, hemsworth et.
among others, if i were to ever make a yt channel, i'd probably get insta blacklisted/stan death threats by going on a long rant on the crimes to humanity hollywood has made to so many beautiful women, and crimes said women do to make that considered ok and pushed on young, malleable kids, to just have cheeks like a non sexy nosferatu vampire and fish lips and stretched cheeks and foreheads. you can't even approach ratios of attractive people without running straight into that. just tons of people getting carved up to resemble a baseline, a baseline that is shit to begin with. just tons of people carving their faces in accordance with a ratio, and some production crews, like wicked, seem to be pushing that and eating habits like a literal, actual, no irony, cult, whether out of some form of humiliation ritual/punishment or genuinely being fucked in the head
