You show up to a building and walk past a bunch of fat ladies trying to hand you pamphlets telling you who do vote for, there's also one cowboy looking guy with a jawline that could cut glass sitting in a lawn chair holding a vague sign about freedom. After saying "no thanks" 12 times you walk into a room where a bunch of fat black women with scowls that could kill a wasps nest hand you a piece of paper. You bubble in a bunch of shit then put the piece of paper into a machine.
Then you go home and watch on TV as the losing side pretends the world is ending, the winning side pretends the country is perfect again/still perfect, redditors shid and fard and cry no matter what the result was, 4chan makes memes, youtubers make money, and celebrities who have never done an honest day of work in their entire life pretend to be political experts. Then you watch as the leader of every foreign country makes some vague statement ranging from congratulations to caution to de-escalation.
European web users act superior, indian web users kiss the new leader's ass, chinese web users do everything they can to frame it in a way that this is a victory for china, muslims rant about some mohoma-fada-akbakabaka nonsense and bunch of people threaten to move but only to white countries.
It's honestly fucking exhausting.
