The thing that always bothers me in terms of these political anecdotes is that the left wing narrative becomes fact while the right wing narrative is seen as propaganda. When someone makes the majority of their reporting on how leftists/anti-I.C.E. agitators are being violent, they'll get accused of cherry picking. When it's a leftist, a lot of the time it's the mainstream narrative. So it leads to these scenarios where I'll see a leftist post a clip, take it out of any context and use the strongest language possible (e.g. there was this one tweet that went around two weeks ago that claimed I.C.E. threw a guy to the ground, only found out after he was legal and then dumped him bloodied somewhere else later) and the entire time I am desperate for any sort of context because I know for a fact that isn't the whole story. It tends to drive you crazy, when you start trying to find context for everything, but in a situation like this the mainstream perception is black-and-white, you need some kind of context and outside of dissident right-wing accounts you'll not get it.

I posted something about this in the riots thread. Basically... its harder for them to control the narrative than before, cause yeah they can influence, and propagandize but people can actually go find full context pretty easy but also, they get desensitized to all these things.

There's no recognizable native American custom or religious text's influence in the constitution and the laws of the USA or any other country founded by settlers, just like there is no trace of Slavs, celts or Germanic tribes in the area we know as Hungary since the migration, conquest and founding of that region, or anything other than a small % of DNA and a substrate of the Greek language to indicate the previous occupants of that region before indo Europeans took over 6-7 thousand years ago.

I understand we needed to appropriate some sort of icon to culturally cleave ourselves out of the UK, Spanish, Portuguese yoke, but this has backfired spectacularly because it created a false sense of belonging and a a amorphous non racial component to those countries.
