A treatment that costs $500m to develop that treats only 100 people a year will never be "affordable." Adding another layer of administration via the federal government managing the entire industry won't change that.
Nobody is talking about Limited Edition GigaAIDS when they're talking about Affordable Healthcare. I haven't seen a doctor in 10 years - last one tried to prescribe me a $200 antibiotic for an oral infection that was reduced to a $12 prescription when I called him from the pharmacy on his utter bullshit.

I've needed like 3 root canals since before the pandemic. Got a few grand I could borrow? "Dude you could die...", I know. Welcome to America.

But it's okay, as long as Ben Shapiro doesn't have to drive a brand new Honda to work instead of a Porsche. We should really think of the multitude of pharmacorps that have cured cancer several times over, but refuse to pay for the FDA approval because it's not patentable.

Know someone who died of cancer? They didn't have to.

I'm not saying Luigi was right - but, I understand.

Maybe they are at that stage where they are hoping a new minority will displace the previous invasive minority. Like trying to solve a mouse problem by flooding the island with cats and then trying to solve that problem flooding it with dogs.
They are just boomers, they might die tomorrow and they just want their pensions to keep going up. They are not going to live through the consequences anyway. I don't think they have thought that far ahead.

You'd think that Covid would've woken people up to the fact that boomers will sacrifice society as a whole for their survival.

Everyone who likes this post is, like, a racist, okay? Because she screamed “medic,” okay? Like, what? OMG I’M CALLING MY BEST FRIEBDX IACSR WHY?

I really want to know what was going through her head that made her decide to pick up a flashbang. They're filled with magnesium which burns at a toasty 3,100 ⁰C (5,610 ⁰F). Even though they're designed to minimize the outward blast to reduce chances of ignition, holding one is a surefire way to flash cook your hand. That's not even considering the 170 decibel soundwave and 6 million candela flash. She'll be lucky if her ears ever stop ringing. All things considered of the situation she put herself in, it could have been worse. It's not like the video games or movies, folks. A flashbang is only less-lethal in the sense it may just permanently blind and/or deafen you instead of filling you with shrapnel.

She thought she was gonna be an action movie badass and throw it back

I'm interested in a followup on what kind of injuries she ends up with, because it sounds like what she did could fuck you up so bad that she'll be envying Nurse Alex

To second the nat-socialism post, 10 billion in fraud in one state alone covers how many people's medical bills? Now do New York. Now do California. Hell, now do Texas. Someone said it earlier, the USA could legitimately be a post-scarcity country on fraud alone. The main reason everyone has said socialism cannot work is because there isn't enough money and it doesn't work with real markets. Clearly there is enough money. Enough for <100k somalis to defraud over 10b in one program in one state. As far as markets go, leave them alone and provide the social benefit system.

All of this brought to you by a former small "l" libertarian
'socialism' in the marxist/economic sense (central planning, command economy, state ownership of businesses) cannot 'work' on principle because it rips apart the incentive structure that makes business function, it destroys the mechanism that spreads information about supply and demand throughout the economy (pricing) - without that mechanism you lose any sense of market efficiency and end up with massive misallocation of resources, malinvestment, and general economic mismanagement. this is what drove the soviet union into the era of economic decline that eventually resulted in its demise. (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_calculation_problem)

'socialism' in the sense of having a reasonable and functional welfare state can absolutely work if the people responsible for implementing and operating it act with the interest of honest working people at heart. if they don't, then you end up with what we have currently in most western countries: massively bloated and oversized welfare states that are set up to enable parasitic lifestyles of all kinds on a gigantic scale, permeated with political corruption and financial fraud at every layer.

Aren't you a Russian-descended Jew? I've always wanted to ask about that, because everything I hear about Russian-born Isrealis makes them sound like ultra-psychos. Is that true?

Tbh if it gets results like this I can dig it.

They're pretty tough because they went through the refusenik movement in the USSR then got to Israel and faced discrimination there.

They can be psychos but they're mostly stubborn to a fault, the Russian Leiberman who runs Yisrael Beiteinu collapsed the Israeli government for a few years by withdrawing support for the coalition because they didn't do what he wanted regarding drafting ultra Orthodox Jews.

We'd be much smerter just listening to some seething kike with an axe to grind, right?

>subhuman behavior

Tell us more about how you feel about the goyim, Mortimer.
You can look up the Italian newspaper yourself, I gave you the link to fact check me.

I call anyone who believes AI without factchecking subhuman as it is subhuman behavior.

How many dead jews prompted this headline? 0. Dachau had been open for 2 days. And even Wikipedia admits it was for political opponents, not just da jooz.

Judea declares war on the regime telling them to take their grift elsewhere.
A British hyperbolic headline talking about an American Jewish led boycott on Nazi goods is not evidence of war.

The Nazis had implemented boycotts on Jewish businesses essentially immediately on the election of Hitler in 1933 and this was a response to that. If you bothered to look things up instead of reacting to yellow journalist headlines, you would see that the 1937 Haavara agreement with the Zionists essentially negated the Jewish boycott on Nazi Germany.

What astounds me about people like you is how easily you're programmed and how incurious you are, you get one newspaper headline where the image is too blurry to read the actual article and that's enough.

That episode did end up coming true. r/thedonald in many ways did turn into /pol/. But /pol/ ended up becoming retarded.
/pol/ got infested with the JIDF because there was a fatal flaw in the 4chan anon system. "Get an avatar, faggot" exists because on a screen packed with text, it's easy to confuse posters.

That gets a 250hp shot of NOS when your id is a string of random numbers. Perfect place for subversives.

Look at us - LOOK AT US - we're the /pol/ now.

Speaking of faggots and avatars, let's give @Samuel Fuller a round of applause for finally getting off of his ass and right clicking a jpeg. See, I told you that bullying works. Keep those trash cans coming, champ.

On I.C.E. and optics: I'm not going to pretend like it's not the kind of thing ordinary people, even ordinary, traditional "conservatives" will look at and not be intimidated by, but I think Patrick Casey made a good point: that factor of it (as well as all the larpy social media shit they've been posting) is done to cause self-deportations, rather than needing to go through the process of forcibly deporting people to begin with. I guess the argument could be made that "this isn't what America stands for" or "this isn't Christian and welcoming", but it's really the only practical solution. You can't have it both ways. You can't talk about having a strong border/immigration policy but then say it's too far when it seems scary and off-putting. The only way you're going to maintain a low immigration rate with as little violence as possible is making your messaging clear.

You've clarified a problem here. When leftists and/or normies talk about socialism, they are usually referring to the welfare benefits and social safety nets that socialism provides. Not the control of markets. It's a pretty good rhetorical bait and switch as its why the poll showed voters thing Democrats are better at "democratic values" and we here on the farms don't know what that means. It's partially because when those on the right are arguing against socialism the focus is on the market controls primarily and the welfare programs secondarily.

Nah, the oligarchs just want more slaves. It's always about wanting more slaves for the system

People lose track of this, but really need to remember that there will be brain rotted, 6-7 posting, Gen Alphas voting in the 2028 election.
Good, they will be our salvation. Who the fuck do you think they'll be voting for? The more diluted the boomer vote is the better

Our society is absurdly gynocentric. Some women are so used to endless resources being devoted to their happiness and success and society bending itself into a pretzel to protect them from any and all consequences that they've genuinely gotten delusional and believe nothing bad can ever happen to them.

So they decide to pick up a live grenade.

"Fuck you incels!"

"Ack!"

She thought this was Star Wars and that she could epically defeat the evil ICE stormtroopers by throwing it back. Unfortunately reality doesn’t work that way.

The ever indispensable Data Republican has compiled a list of 4,000+ donors to La Resistance, downloadable here. I have archived the list on this post for your viewing pleasure.
The fuck is La Resistance? Are they gay-larping as Frenchies now?

googles

looks at excel file full of names and occupations

ctrl-f all instances of "socialis" - 38 hits (covers socialist, socialism, socialismo...)
ctrl-f capital - 32 hits (capitalism, capitalist)
ctrl-f bank - 48 hits (bank, banker, banking)
ctrl-f commun - 794 hits (communist, communism, commune)
ctrl-f "community" as in "community organizer" - 618 hits
Damn.

So do communists just call themselves community organizers now? I thought I was onto something with looking up "commun" but it's just mostly picking up for organizers, not out and out commies.

Anyway, what the hell is anyone gonna do with this other than go "yup, that's a fuckload of shitty brown hippies."
