“The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requests support from the Department of War (DoW) to provide existing infrastructure to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a component of DHS, specifically an area for parking approximately 300-500 vehicles and 10 storage trailers, a ready room space for approximal 500-800 CBP personnel, a space to house, maintain and operate five CBP Air Assets, access to a magazine to store munitions, and other necessary facilities to support operations in the Minneapolis, Minnesota metropolitan area,” the email said, using the Trump administration’s name for the Department of Defense. On Monday morning, Hegseth approved the request, according to correspondence obtained by the Chronicle.

Clashes with the narrative of DHS pulling out, this gives them a place to house agents and stage operations without being constantly hounded at hotels and gas stations.

Apparently Bovino's access to his own social media accounts has also been suspended, according to CNN. Which I can believe - dude walks around in discount SS cosplay and basically all but declared war on the very foundations of the NRA by basically insinuating you can't go around with firearms wherever you like even if you have a perfectly legal permit.

NRA got very mad about the optics and powerful Republicans within that group likely are demanding the heads of both Bovino and Noem over this. Bovino's getting all but put out to pasture as a result and I would expect Norm's on the way out as well.

Except permits do have a carve out in some states where you can't bring them to protest events where tensions are heightened. Bringing guns to a high emotional event where people hate each other almost gaurentees there will be a shooting.

Tbh and I love Gregory Bovino he's an amazing patriot who worked hard for this country, but he was a reply guy on X to anyone who would talk shit, granted this was his hole gun ho persona, I can see why alot of DHS niggas with knives out could use the optics of him personally trolling libtards online all day and explain his removal beyond a border patrol agent drilling the nursefag . I think Trump is shaking up DHS and wants a more professional face to subhuman removal.

Bondi was literally calling for hate speech laws after the kirk murder and the administration didn't do shit to her.

Regardless, when your enemy is actively trying to bolshevik revolution you It's a great idea to give them a win by publicly going after your own people during the fight and not a month after you've already won if absolutely necessary.

I noticed that a lot of her actual fans are fawningly reciting this line:
  • "Fear not those without papers, but those without conscience."
Except that's not really her quote. The line actually reads:
  • "Fear not THE those without papers, but those without conscience."
And this is not a typo. Amanda Gorman absolutely worded it this way on purpose. Because her absolute top priority was getting the city limits shape, and she couldn't figure out how to do it without butchering text and language.

Its more that the level of authority has escalated. The political show is over. The Union is gearing up to justify war against one of its own States. Part of the build up to this is to offer that State an off ramp to avoid catastrophe. Removing Bovino and sending in Homann is part of this. Bovino is the muscle, and Homann is the Legate. They have different roles. Withdrawing the Muscle and sending the Legate should not be construed as de-escalation. Its actually the opposite.

What Washington DC is essentially telling Minnesota is this. This shit is out of hand, and we can't do this anymore. The use of civilian authority is not working, and the political back and forth is over. We KNOW you assholes in Saint Paul are behind a large part of the resistance to our efforts. So the Civilian forces are standing down for now, and the Imperial Legate is coming to Saint Paul to deliver demands and open dialogue for how your province can be brought back into compliance with the Empire in a way that won't end in the Empire looking bad and all of the senior leadership of your State ending up hammered onto crosses lining the I-35 corridor as a warning to your plebes on the wages of treason.

If we can reach an agreement for de-escalation, great. You won't end up crucified and strung up to die on the highway. If we can't reach agreement, we are not going to send Federal police anymore. We are going to send the Army, and you, governor Walz, will be the first man stripped naked, hammered to a cross and mounted on the I-35 corridor.
