I'm getting the feeling that Zoomers are going to fully experience what the Millenials have went through during the Dubya administration.
Zoomers: This is the reason why Millenials fucking hate the right wing. The right wing faggots don't believe at all in conservatism, family values or even preserving the constitution. They don't even give a shit about gun rights. All the right wing craves is control and to be the new dictatorship because they take joy in making people they don't like suffer. Millenials have witness this firsthand with the Bush administration with the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Wall Street running hog-wild on our economy, the destruction of the 4th and 5th amendment with the Patriot act, and gitmo where they literally fucking tortured people. Say what you will about Obama and Biden, but at least they didn't actively fucking hate the constitution and are openly willing to wipe their asses on it.
Now, Zoomers, you know why these damn dirty Millenials hate the right wing. You can now thank the boomers and GenXers for voting in this bloated pedophile. Now you will see firsthand what it's like being ruled by the right wing pedos.
It's funny how the Right pretends to be the defenders of the Constitution; if the Constitution was a woman, the modern Right would be the barbarian orcs violating her day and night in some kind of rape dungeon.
This was why being anti-Bush or anti-conservative was so popular in the late 2000s. I saw it myself. The world went from loving Bush to hating his guts, and everything even slightly tied to him.
Sad thing is, I'd pay to see Dubya back in power. He was nowhere as bad as Trump ever was, yet not so openly retarded as Obama letting the SJWs run roughshod over him and giving Trump an opening to take power.
I honestly believe that George W Bush and his administration are one of the big reasons why Reddit atheism even exists in the first place.
We look at Reddit atheists with cringe and contempt now, but in those days, seeing the retarded shit that Bush pulled like him defunding stem cell research because TradCaths and Evangelicals were calling embryo harvesting "baby-killing" or him kick-starting the Iraq War because he thought he was "on a mission from God", it made Bush the face of Christianity in America and that was a big P.R mistake for American christians. Coupled that with many exploitative documentaries and reality TVs about corrupt and greedy televangelists and you had the perfect storm to create a backlash movement against Christianity.
That was basically the building blocks for the Skeptic movement. Christianity being used as a political tool while people struggled economically, priests and pastors getting caught shagging kids, greedy and corrupt televangelists flying around in private planes and driving around luxury cars, it gave many atheists a lot of good ammo.
That, and many of these skeptics, especially in America, came from religious family backgrounds, and they fucking hated their fundie parents for using the name of Jesus as a way to control them. As one internet commenter put it, they became the "Anakin Skywalkers" of the Christian religion, turning against Christianity in particular due to all the perceived slights they suffered at the hands of plastic "Christian" parents.
The funny thing about Trump's 2nd term is that his pandering to the christian right didn't go as well as he expected. Him turning over Roe v. Wade didn't endear himself to TradCaths, they still complain about abortion pill being available and that he needs to do more for pro-lifers. Younger christians are also more likely anti-Zionists (unlike the boomers) so his crusade for Israel annoys them. And Vance is forced to hide his Hindu wife and children to avoid the mocking of Groypers lol.
You might even see a re-emergence of secularism or skepticism towards MAGA Christianity as a result of Trump's bastardized Christianity taking center stage. I've seen more than a few pop up here and there, like Pat Mandziy who openly insults Christians over things like holidays and the nature of God. That springtime which Christianity enjoyed after the fall of skepticism in the wake of the SJW storm is now declining, especially as the anti-SJW president is making life objectively worse for everyone.
Progressive Christianity, meanwhile, is making inroads. I see progressive churches that preach about a tolerant, loving God get packed like sardine cans, while MAGA Christians are complaining that their churches are empty. The people aren't done with Jesus Christ, they want more of Him, it's just that they know they won't get it from a pastor with a red MAGA hat. Christianity's true strongholds are not Europe and North America, but Latin America, Asia, and Africa, where in Latin America, the Church continues to stand strong, and in Asia and Africa, Christianity continues to grow in spite of persecution at the hands of Communists, Muslims, and Hindus.
This is why a true Christian should be horribly offended by Trump's deportation campaign; his efforts disproportionately target Christians, yet his tech-bro allies are bringing in Hindu heathens to be their workhorses. Trump is making America less Christian. He is doing to America what the financial and political elites of Europe did when they rejected Christianity and started bringing in Muslims to Europe. Trump is de-Christianizing America, both by number, and by making American Christianity look stupid in the eyes of Gen Z and Gen Alpha, which will ensure that many of them will grow up godless.
