I think the problem is putting their faith in someone like Trump to care or even have a long term goal. Trump won and begun some pretty radical things that made it seems like he was either confident in re-election or that the electorate and cult of personality was so strong that they weren't afraid of going crazy and doing real institutional change. Pardoning J6ers, the tariffs , firing feds and going after his first term appointees.

If you want to believe that the American electorate finally had a come to Jesus moment and were actually based, you could interpret those actions as a mandate to restore America how they perceived it to be. They can even ignore that the object of their ire (Jews) are directly involved and actively seeking to further entrench their power into the US political apparatus or even the very obvious fact that Trump has pretty direct connections to pedophiles that actually raped children.
