This shooting is just absolutely sickening to me. There is just story after story in mainstream media harping about it being another "illegal" "unjustified" shooting that disregards the "rules of engagement."

He brought A FUCKING GUN TO A PROTEST. At what fucking point can anyone say he was a goodboi with no intent to murder?!

YOU DO NOT HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO DEFEND YOURSELF FROM COPS. That's it. That is the law. End of story. It is the fucking law if our land that you have to do whatever a cop tells you, you must comply with their orders. You don't get to decide if they are "lawful" or not. You fucking comply, you maybe get arrested, and you fight it in court.

But they think that Congressional written Federal Laws are "illegal" to enforce, they think it's fine to obstruct Federal agents and block vans and form shield walls and shut down streets, and assault officers. They think this is a war against Nazis and they are fucking HEROES so anything they do is noble and justified. And the media is stanning all of it.

Ordered not to interfere officially. Unofficially they are basically abetting riots by not arresting protesters for petty vandalism and other shit.

Whole reason ICE presence is so large in the city in the first place is because the police were ordered not to help ICE, something that had happened in cities in mainly red states leading to far easier operations with no national news stories.

This was always going to escalate to someone dying. This was always not only the goal of the protesters (to establish a martyr and vilify the feds) but also the only possible outcome of continual escalation without a serious crackdown on the nonsense in Minnesota.

Do not doubt for a second that the people organizing these protests are not overjoyed that someone finally got plugged by the feds. It was the entire point of their rhetoric and increasingly violent protests.

Oh, and if there’s no crackdown immediately, expect more deaths. Again, it’s the whole point.

You can tell this site is full of autists because they hyperfocus on details that don't fucking matter (frame-by-frame breakdown in hindsight) instead of focusing on the bigger pictures (someone bringing a loaded firearm to a protest and getting into violent confrontation with federal agents).
