Someone invoked the Boston Massacre in A&N earlier today and I found that fitting.
How can anyone with eyes and a functioning brain (ostensibly, capable of making independent decisions) watch the multiple videos of different angles of the Goode & Pretti incidents and walk away thinking that the agents were acting in self-defense?
The polarized comments and laugh-reacts on social media are baffling.
I'm no bleeding heart, I don't consider myself a Democrat, I don't like engaging in team sports, but what the fuck? I never thought I would find myself under threat of possibly being accused of wokeness for my thoughts.
You just go with the *wrong* interpretation of events because your team said so?
Goode & Pretti were, at worst, annoying, whiny liberals. That does not justify summary execution.
These people seriously take puerile joy in the murder of those that disagree with them. Any ounce of compassion is faggy.
The same people who claim to care about muh guns every other election cycle, are glossing over the fact that Pretti was a legally carrying American. Holding it against him, even. He's clearly a domestic terrorist for exercising his First, Second, and Fourth Amendment rights.
Dude did not even brandish. He incidentally had his weapon while existing in public, in his city, recording a video of ICE. Numerous agents took him to the ground, one guy popped in to quickly take Pretti's pistol, and then the agents shot the man many times while he was being held down. In that order.
There are slightly longer videos out there, showing a little bit what happens before hand. I apologize, I'll archive and post in the thread later if I can find. He was standing and filming ICE presence in the street, an agent apparently takes issue with this, walks up to him angrily, they get into a verbal argument, more agents gather around, Pretti gets pepper sprayed, he staggers, ICE tackles him, and the rest unfolds. That is a literal play-by-play. There is no way to infer that Pretti went there with the intention of starting shit.
If you ever wanted a contemporary, real-time example of why we have 2A, this is it. When you have uniformed, masked government thugs, stopping randoms in public, saying, "Papers please," pouncing on citizens who they perceive to be looking at them the wrong way, detaining young children, this is it.

I don't care enough about this shooting to really do any digging, but redditors are now admitting that he drew his pistol. If that's the case this is absolutely nothing.
I've also seen people say he was disarmed prior to being shot - but if that were the case I can't imagine redditors would be capitulating to the "he drew his gun" narrative this quickly.

It's not surprising, at least to me. The last few years has seen the site get more mainstream recognition due to its (Null's) resilience in the face of takedown attempts, as well as the dedication of its users to not only stay, but to continue to post largely uncensored proof and opinions of all sorts of crazy shit in regards to lolcows first and foremost.
The downside of that dedication to having little censorship is that it has attracted a lot of people who care little about cows and just want to say "nigger" and talk about team sport politics only.
You'll eventually notice that a notable minority of newer users end up stating that they're just here for the free speech and that wherever they're coming from was too libtarded and censorious with the bias leaning that way. While I'm down with the sentiments of total Reddit death, drowning Twitter mods in the Ganges, etc., there is a reality that we live in where someone can be victimized by libshit mods while also being an unbearable retard who does anything other than making themselves a sympathetic character.
For years the left wing antisocial faggots did and continue to do everything they can to be contemptable across the internet with a rainbow flag, and now in addition it's a lot easier for the right wing ones to do it with orange spray tan residue covering their lips and chins.

- Alex Pretti (AP) walking around, phone in right hand, left arm up, at times waving cars on
- In some clips, AP can be seen in a verbal confrontation with ICE, one portly ICE agent pushes him towards the sidewalk with one hand
- AP's coat is zipped at all times, weapons are never visible on him
- ICE agent shoves a female protester causing her to slip and fall
- Same ICE agent pushes a second female protester to the ground
- ICE agent turns and is startled by AP's presence
- ICE agent pepper sprays AP
- AP turns away, appears to be stumbling over the first fallen female protester, and/or trying to help her up

- AP is being held face down and beaten by multiple ICE agents

Miggers love to talk about how the protesters are out of line but never admit to the fact that these ICE members are constantly acting like untrained retards who are trigger happy and just shooting people because they know they can get away with it. I'm also troubled by the fact that they all seem to be disabled blind people because the shit they're claiming doesn't add up to what is shown in these videos.

ICE can do literally whatever they want, and because of sheer retardation, or willful ignorance, the right will always twist it to be whatever they want it to be. If Trump said the sky was fucking purple, then everyone would be saying how they always knew it was purple and blue was DEI. Nobody fucking wants to actually be objective because they're happy they can finally be the nasty, and downright abhorrent person they always wanted to be, but was stopped by polite society.
