nor do the videos even show that this was the firearm in question. it shows something that appears to be a firearm, but if you actually look, the coloration doesn't seem to match the p320, it is probably an ICE glock 19 that he's pulling out since this guy is literally involved in a fistfight with ICE, and if he grabs one of their guns it becomes a lethal force situation. this is not even slightly outside of SOP for an arrest of an extremely hostile suspect, and in fact might have saved an officer's life. i have seen many videos of people grabbing for cop guns, and several where the cop is killed before any of his other officers can draw to stop the gunshots. in a situation that has already progressed to physical violence against police, firearms are plenty appropriate, especially since we know that this faggot HAD a gun.

I have no problem with an American citizen carrying a gun when and where they're legally permitted to do so, and that includes at a protest for whatever "the latest thing" cause.

That said, anybody who carries a gun has a duty and a responsibility to avoid any and all types of conflict that they don't need to be directly involved in, and that goes especially so for conflicts that involve armed law enforcement officers.
