I actually own a first edition of that book. True story, I got it at a used book store from a 90 year old drunk Apache dude who hated white people.

The "through 2026" part is in completely different handwriting lmao

It looks like the kid wrote "I wish people can. Live throu" and then the rest was written for them in very feminine handwriting. This bitch ain't even trying.

I would imagine the work that needs to be done to it will take a while. I had a friend that worked on HMX-1 and he said the squadrons operate just like any other squadron in terms of manpower. I'm sure they get priority for most things but shit takes time and I'm sure it's a very tedious and complicated rebuild. They're gonna be shoving technology into that thing that most people aren't allowed to know about so it's not like they can bring in a couple hundred Mexicans and do it over a weekend.

I'd also bet they stripped it down to the rivets looking for any goodies the Arabs left behind.

FRTs, forced reset triggers. Basically they use the cycling of the action to forcibly reset the trigger so that all you have to do is keep pulling the trigger back. They basically make the fully semi-automatic meme real. Some of them are finnicky and if you pull the trigger back too hard they'll jam but they're getting really good these days. AR-15 ones even come with 3 position safeties so you have safe, semi, and fully-semi
