China's Taiwan strategy is not a straight up military invasion. Instead, they're aiming for finlandization of Taiwan through a campaign of pressure and intimidation.
Finlandization is the process by which one powerful country makes a smaller neighboring country refrain from opposing the former's foreign policy rules, while allowing it to keep its nominal independence and its own political system. The term means "to become like Finland", referring to the influence of the Soviet Union on Finland's policies during the Cold War.

The end goal is to force Taiwan to accept a "one country two systems" solution similar to the one China implemented with Hong Kong. They intend to accomplish this using a combination of military power, political influence, finance, and harassment.

China's actual military capabilities and political compromise of western countries is less important than Taiwan's perception. China just completed it's third carrier and regularly threatens the region with military drills while American politicians are too scared of China to even call Taiwan a country. China harasses ships and planes, cuts undersea cables, and circles Taiwan with air armadas with hardly even a complaint from the US. The more China gets away with bullying Taiwan and the Yellow Sea region, the more a political solution looks preferable. Tiawan could make it all go away just by signing a piece of paper.

Just like in Hong Kong, politicians and important people who play ball with Beijing will be rewarded in the "two system" solution, while opponents will be punished. As the pressure increases and the results look more inevitable, people will want to be on the winning side.

Federal sentencing guidelines are just that, guidelines. A case called United States v. Booker established that making them mandatory violated the right to jury trial, and made it fully retroactive, requiring an enormous number of resentencings all over the country. Specifically, the guidelines allowed the judge to deviate from the guidelines to increase a sentence based on facts the jury hadn't found, but basically amounted to the judge's opinion in a case where the judge was not the finder of fact.

Mandatory minimums are an entirely different thing and set a floor beneath which the judge has no discretion to lower them.

No, to adequately neutralize the United states in a nuclear strike you need around 10,000 weapons, at least.
this is because to ensure a kill on a target you need to task at least 2 but preferably 3 or more weapons due to interceptions, weapon failure, EMP interference, and misses.
Nuclear weaponry is not like it is in the movies. in practice they are just very large bombs, a miss of just a few hundred yards can mean a target is still operational and in the fight.
To destroy the US's military capacity the Russians would have to expend their entire arsenal of around 5,000 weapons and that would still leave a lot of bases untouched, and the vast majority of the population unscathed as the majority of targets are in the middle of nowhere Nebraska.

Fallout is also much less of a concern than is portrayed but that's a whole other rant.

If the liberals let us lock up all the criminal niggers and spics while deporting the illegals then the only minorities you would encounter on a daily basis would be the ones who are not criminals or at least haven't committed a crime yet.

By only enforcing the laws against whites it serves to created a skewed perception of whites not being criminals save for the occasional news worthy first crime such as school shooters. Its not that whites are completely crime free its just that the majority of the criminal ones are locked up.
