Armed gun rights activists rallied at the Virginia State Capitol on Monday to protest proposed gun measures under new Democratic Governor Abigail Spanberger.

The Virginia Kekoas militia wore "Boogaloo" style attire for the first time publicly since 2023.

"All the rights, for all the people, all the time" explained the group's leader, who goes by ICE (which is not a reference to the agency of the same name).

"We're just going back to our heritage, where we started."

"Things are a little bit more serious this year," explained the Kekoas member who goes by Sasquatch. "This is our unofficial battle cry!"

"I swear I'm not a swinger," he clarified, referencing the pineapples on his Hawaiian shirt.

Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes, a man dressed as George Washington and members of the Original Black Panther Party as well as the Virginia Citizens Defense League were all spotted at the rally where everyone of these parties voiced their support for the Second Amendment.

I'm not knowledgable about law in the slightest lol. I do recall some post sometime in the past talking about something to do with sentencing guidelines. Maybe I'm just conflating it with what you described the federal ones as though.
Federal sentencing guidelines are just that, guidelines. A case called United States v. Booker established that making them mandatory violated the right to jury trial, and made it fully retroactive, requiring an enormous number of resentencings all over the country. Specifically, the guidelines allowed the judge to deviate from the guidelines to increase a sentence based on facts the jury hadn't found, but basically amounted to the judge's opinion in a case where the judge was not the finder of fact.

Mandatory minimums are an entirely different thing and set a floor beneath which the judge has no discretion to lower them.

The Virginia Capitol lawn was closed off to attendees carrying firearms, splitting the crowd into those carrying and not.

A man dressed as George Washington attempted to argue with police that his musket is "not a firearm" but was not allowed to pass.

"God bless the VCDL!"

Hundreds gathered for the annual Virginia Citizens Defense League rally on the Virginia Capitol lawn, where they could not be armed.

"Jesus Christ said it best," one speaker explained. "Sell your cloak, and buy a sword."

"What gun would Jesus carry? It's not gonna be an AR-15, you're wrong, it's an FAL, it's the right arm of freedom."

Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes arrived at the pro-gun rally and explained that he is calling upon President Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act "not just in Minnesota" but against a number of federal agencies.

Rhodes cannot carry a gun because President Trump commuted his Seditious Conspiracy sentence for January 6 rather than pardoning him.

Rhodes had recommended Trump invoke the Insurrection Act as far back as 2020 in response to the contested election.

He says he hopes Trump will fully restore his rights, and he "suspects some weenie lawyer or some bad apple" "are doing their best to poison pill the administration."

Rhodes came with Ivan Raiklin, who had advocated for Vice President Pence to refuse to certify Biden as the victor in 2020."

Whether I'm out here or in prison, I'm still gonna tell the truth," Raiklin said. "It doesn't matter to me if they want to take physical dominion over me. Intellectually and spiritually, they'll never touch me."

"African Americans do support the Second Amendment" said JaPharii Jones of BLM757, flanked by several members of the Original Black Panther Party.

"We don't wanna end up like the Holocaust. If they have the weapons, why can't we?"

"We have to have our gun rights," said OBPP General Mike Pain. "It should never be taken away."

"We don't know what the government is gonna do! It's up and down! It's wishy-washy! We gotta make sure that we're able to defend ourselves."

"Our stance is, for illegals, we're not gonna step in front of that. That's not our fight," argued Original Black Panther Party General Mike Pain.

"That has nothing to do with us.""

"As far as our other brown folks and stuff like that, we do stand up and defend the citizens and the poor, and stuff like that, but as far as illegal immigration, that's not our fight."

True but China has a horrible war record. The have only beaten India. Plus China is basically sacrificing Shanghai to even attempt.
They have both a horrible record in fighting wars and in creating any weapons of war on their own.
For example: From the inception of PRC to this day they still haven't managed to engineer a military sidearm that isn't a complete piece of shit.
The one they're using now has a rotating barrel action instead of a Browning tilting barrel one (because copying 100 year old working gun designs is too bourgeois apparently) that fires a 5,8 caliber round which delivers about as much energy as the average modern .380 ACP load negating all of the armor penetration potential a small caliber round like the 5,8 DAP would have if you only put some power behind it. Another bonus is that it can't be a blowback even though the cartridge is anemic because the caliber is too small increasing the pressure the action has to withstand compared to a .380.

Oh hey the same shit biden had with the gross bloody eye. Then again Biden is a walking corpse while macron is in his 50's ? How did that happen ?

Edit: Apparently 48, what the fuck. Is Brigitte into rough stuff or is he that weak
Brigitte went to the Turkey Tom school of sex. She can only get off if Macron is crying and screaming like a faggot.

I think Xi honestly is scared to attempt to take Taiwan unless he's 100% sure it will be a sucess. Because being in charge when half the Chinese Navy and Airforce gets destroyed is a good way to lose the mandate of heaven.
