My favorite statistic that my gunnut brother told me once is that more Euros die every year from lack of AC than Americans die every year from guns.
Perhaps they need even more common sense AC control laws?

That sounds like a fun statistic but that happens because average life expectancy in Europe is several years higher than in the US and we have a greater population of people in their late 80s and 90s. They are who die due to hot weather. It isn't even necessarily to do with lack of AC but often more to do with older people not really feeling the heat and continuing to go for walks during intense heatwaves, often wearing too much clothes and not drinking more to offset sweating.

in america you can work a regular-ish job like sysadmin and make more money than lawyers and doctors make in countries like italy
if you look at fields like software engineering, the pay in america is like almost double of what you can expect to make in europe

I'm just talking about taxes not about quality of life or salary. Again this is irrelevant for Greenlanders. And I'm not talking about the amount as much as about the horrific pain in your ass American taxes are and most particularly about how the burden of filing American taxes persists no matter where you earn your income.

You're right. But I don't think we should let little things like the reality of how statistics are derived prevent us from using them against our enemies. After all, it's not like gun grabbing leftists would give us the same courtesy. They pretend to not understand basic concepts like per capita to advance their agenda, so why shouldn't we?

Something that has been sticking in my brain lately is the fact that because some states are so obviously and hopelessly corrupt we have no actual idea what is going on in terms of crime, revenue, or anything really. Minnesota proves that states can just fictionalize everything for a period of time.

It is impossible that NY, CA, NJ, etc are not cooking the books similarly and engaged in similar financial and voting schemes. I have suspected things have been total fiction for years but the fraud revelations kind of make it impossible for those suspicions to be wrong.

If Trump does invoke the Insurrection Act he needs to have troops ready to seize records in state facilities because they are going to try to destroy whatever they can as quickly as they can however they can.

Doesn't seem to me that the other inmate struck at her. Looks like Tina attacked her as she moved whatever Tina was moving away from the door. Hard to say why the other inmate was moving the object away, though.

But given how she backed off the way she did when Tina grabbed at her, it appears the other inmate wasn't aggressive. Looks like a senior moment, to be honest. Still, as far as prison fights go, and how it resolved rather quickly and without incident, charging her with a felony seems over-the-top.
