The fact that the capture of a socialist dictator two weeks ago has already spiraled back into "Nothing ever happens" is proof of how destroyed the average person's attention span is.
Of course, this works the other way, too, since the Epstein Files are equally as forgotten, but it makes me wonder if literally anything can result in long-term positivity on either side with everyone being so stuck in the present forever.
The raid itself was impressive and a big morale booster for the might of the US but if they keep insisting that arrests are coming while nothing gets done then expect people to act like that.

Tim Walz has affected my wallet much more than Maduro ever did.

The Don Lemon shit is also on camera. They film their crimes and somehow they can't fucking put anyone doing this shit in jail.

You guys know the story of the Melians? Also known more commonly as the Melian dialogue?

So its mid pelopenssian war, thats the war between sparta and athens for the entire known world (most of the Agean sea)

Anyway Athens decides the need the independent island of melos to launch an invasion sparta, the islanders are all like "we got no beef, by what right do you wage wr on us" and the athenian response is one of the coldest lines in history, the final line is likely somthing you have heard before.

"For ourselves, we shall not trouble you with specious pretences—either of how we have a right to our empire because we overthrew the Mede, or are now attacking you because of wrong that you have done us—and make a long speech which would not be believed; and in return we hope that you, instead of thinking to influence us by saying that you did not join the Lacedaemonians, although their colonists, or that you have done us no wrong, will aim at what is feasible, holding in view the real sentiments of us both; since you know as well as we do that right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must."
The Athenian Empire is such an underrated part of history. It's always sad to me how many professional historians gloss over the whole pre-Alexander period of Greece. I remember a historian I respect once lectured me on how Athens lacked large amounts of territory, but the sheer amount of damage they absorbed in their lifetime made them more respectable as an empire than most throughout history. Keep the flame lit brother.

first 3 professions IN ORDER were fisherman, prostitute, casino owner.

Never gamble, its always a long term loss, those bastards would have gone out of business by now if people could "win" longterm
the quarter push machine at the skeevy gas station across from my job was amazingly honest
like if you actually knew what you were doing it really was a game of skill, you could slide the coin drop left and right, hold the field, and it just shit the coin onto the field, it wasn't any of that flying ramps bullshit like Chuck-E-Cheeze has
after I got good I could reliably break even or come out ahead

If trump invades greenland with force im ok with him canceling midterms

can we get this to him somehow?

also no more indians plz mr trump.

Did you guys know 50% of the entire indian economy is "services:", thats how they cover up that most of their money comes literally from scam call centers

We could shut it down in a day but those same call centers provide "tech/customer support" for most of the fortune 500 companies. Talk about some shit that needs to GO.
imagine if this were the long term plan, to cancel elections because of a drawn out 100-man war over greenland lmao.

Lmao WHAT Persian Wars into the Peloponnesian War might as well be the sum total of Greek history to the average person and most historians also study the Classical period. It being named the Classical period in the first place should tell you all you need to know about the prestige heaped on it. The Hellenistic period has some attention given to it and then the Bronze Age and Roman periods of Greece might as well not exist with how little anyone cares about them.

Took the words right out of my mouth, even more intriguing to me was how in the same area 1,500 years ago the bronze age collapse just WIPES OUT the Mycenaeans living in the same place and alot of fringe scholars supposes much of the great works of ancient Greece could have been made by the Mycenaeans OR EARLIER

Perhaps the athenians rose so fast and so powerful is because they inherited a largely "intact" kingdom from the BC times, one could also make the same argument about the US but thats a whole thing.

The Persians, the Vandals, the Huns, the Babylonians, the Sythians, all these people were TITANS in history but now either defunct or backwaters, makes one wonder what gave Athens, and Greece as a whole such staying power? only other group in that same boat is the Egyptians and I dont need to tell you all that of the people who care very few credit the Egyptians as we know them for making those pyramids.

Bro they call trump a dictator, we havent even been ordered out in slave groups to make even ONE 1,500 ton statue in his likeness and drag it across the desert, much less a 3 million block Pyramid for his burial*

While I don't want to empower black-pilling faggots, I will say that most
doomers today probably believe that Trump is doing well in international politics, but poorly with domestic politics (or at least in terms of law and order). And in that sense they have a point, all our efforts abroad are in vain if we get conquered domestically.

And while it would be counterproductive to throw Trump under the bus, I do think he really needs to do something to rebuild domestic morale and fast. Then again, this might all be a necessary evil to get lazy ass Republicans out to vote in the midterms, remind them what happens if the DNC wins.

No I don't. You don't get to demand shit.

Is the prosecutor of a case a reliable person in as far as to say who ''snitched'' ie, gave information, about a case ?

Since it seems difficult for you to find the right answer, I'll give you mine ;
Yes, I think that the prosecutor would be a person who actually know about who ''snitch'' (ie, pass information) in a case, Actually, they would be the foremost people, since it's literally their job and goal to collect information to pursue their case. Personally, i think that denying this would show extreme stupidity.

I invite every other kiwi in the thread to also answer the question. Maybe if a few dozen more anons give their answer you'll pull the courage to answer a yes/no question.
So why did Trump threaten Republicans who signed the Epstein files discharge petition?

I get it, you worship Trump because he told you he would be mean to brown people and you blame brown people for the fact that you're a failure in life, but in a best case scenario, he is guilty of protecting pedophiles.

Assmongoloid had to suffer through something no human being should ever do, enduring tortures even a Middle Ages peasant didn’t have. He had to play World of Warcraft after Lich King.
your going to get me worked up in ways politics cant. WoW was fine up to and including BFA, it went of a CLIFF after that, ill die on this hill.
