Your perspective makes sense considering safe seats are their own sort of political hell. The only reasonable things I can think of suggesting in such a situation (if you don't want to move) is to get whatever electoral victories you can on a local level and make sure you can keep yourself safe because Democrats love to enable crime and call it progress.

Yes, I think that the prosecutor would be a person who actually know about who ''snitch'' (ie, pass information) in a case, Actually, they would be the foremost people, since it's literally their job and goal to collect information to pursue their case. Personally, i think that denying this would show extreme stupidity.
