Speaking of zealots, there is a huge number of Christians on KF and they get so fucking mad when you don't just blindly accept their religion.

A lot of the BP threads are full of "the sisterhood" and they will just ban you if you disagree with them.

us politics thread is the opposite of an echo chamber, it's constantly plagued by infighting and arguments to the point of shitflinging and flamewars between various (groups of) users.
doomers vs optimists, nazis vs jews, conspiratards vs reasonable people, zoomers vs millennials vs Xers and boomers, interventionists vs isolationists, the exact topics change over time but whenever you open the thread it's virtually guaranteed that you'll find yourself in the middle of some slapfight between raging autists.

the three biggest echo chambers on the site are probably the ukraine war thread (russian side), the other ukraine war thread (ukrainian side) and the man hate thread.
all three of these were explicitly created/endorsed by null to serve as echo chambers for their respective audience, and jannies enforce this by keeping dissenters out, reddit mod style.

They are the definition of echo chambers, it's 100% toxic women being sexists, and anyone questioning anything in a neutral way is either reported, or insulted & reported. Some time ago also discriminated based on gender (don't know nor care if it does now), so if you are male you would not be welcomed there even if you had a honest opinion on the topic.

Pretty much every non-lolcow or non-shitpost thread is like that. It seems to me that a non-insignificant portion of the userbase are bitter, disaffected faggots who have unpopular opinions that they are passionate about, but nothing really of substance to say that you couldn't already get from mainstream social media. They're likely here because they were banned from other, even worse websites and have convinced themselves it was because they're "rebellious free thinkers" and not "too retarded for xitter".

There is a level of echo chamberishness in the lolcow threads too, but it typically takes the form of a united front against the subject of the thread, which is the entire point of a lolcow thread so it's forgivable I guess? At any rate, just about every thread on every website runs the risk of becoming a circlejerk due to our inherent desire to make a granfalloon out of absolutely fucking everything.
