I have a moss 500a that wouldn't unlock often after firing until I replaced a retention spring in the action, Rem 870's newer ones are crappy too. Beretta A300 or Moss 940 semis are the way to now. The Beretta 1301 is probably 'best' but they are restricted with import idiocy to 5 rounds
